Cheating management

I gave terrible rating for all the questions. This is due to cheating that happened to me. I booked kamat homestay but they gave me room in kamat lodge and mentioned that homestay is behind the lodge and it is same as the lodge. Amount i paid is not worth for the lodge. It may range between rs. 800 to 1000 but i paid rs. 1900 for home stay, not for lodge. I had to adjust, as i planned to checkout early at 5 am. Even after letting the management know about my checking out, water in bathroom was not available until 5 am.

Stay with homely feeling

Property has two building, one homestay and lodge. We stay in homestay building for one day. Room, washroom was clean but smelling so asked for room spray which was provided. Privacy was not there as rooms are very close. No tv, no wifi. One thing which i didn’t like the most is washbasin was in room beside bed. But it has one king size bed and one single bed which is good who need extra bed. Room size is big and full wall is covered by titles. Toiletries items were given. Overall stay is ok ok.

Not beyond expectations. There are lot of insects when we opened balcony door, because surrounding looks like mild forest. Have to walk for 100mt to reach hotel. Can accommodate 2 vehicles in open area, but there are no cctv cams. I prefer not to go with family. Rooms are in 2nd floor, no lift.

Location is not on beach or beach view but in main town

Reception you will find on road only property is behind that. Building is new. I said i will checking at 6pm but i reach around 5pm room was not ready so he gave me temporary room so that i can take bath. You can park you bike car outside. 5/6 km from om beach but you will find restaurants and wine shops near by only.

Kamat homestay and lodge

coupleStayed 1 day in lodge ac room and then shifted to homestay at same place, lodge room was bigwith balcony good cooling. Cleanness average. Kamat homestay was excellent, nice clean non ac room with common space. Location nice. Recommend to family/couple. Lodge-6/10. Homestay-8/10. Special mention to host vasudev who was exceptionally well behaved and extra helpful in every way.

Great place to stay in budget

Centrally located property, with a nice forest view. The manager was a really helpful and nice person. Room was clean and decent but the room facilities should be improved. Property was value for money.
