We enjoyed our stay at jay house, it was awesome. Beautiful view from balcony, clean rooms, near to meclodganj market. There are to many stairs in hotel lane but it will not a constrain in your enjoyment because my 70 years old mother easily climb those stairs with joy of holiday mood. Recommending everyone to stay at jay house. Owner mr. Jay, his wife and son all of them very polite and helpful, they served quality service. Thank you mr. And mrs. Jay for your kind service. We will visit again your place very soon.

Jai house is a very good place to stay in macleodganj. The best view of the mountains can be seen here. The room service is also very quick. Rooms are clean and spacious. You can sit the balcony and enjoy the view of snow capped mountains.

We don't stay in this hotel. We cancel-led this hotel. The hotel location is disgusting. The hotel is located besides the posh hotel & 100 stairs down from the jogiwara road. I don't recommend others to stay at this hotel.

Scenic beauty from balcony, friendly staff. Only minus thing is number of stairs you have go through reaching the hotel & coming back to the main road.

I like this hotel because bcz when i stay here i feel as home staf is very nice food is delicious but the food price is very high.

You can reach the mcleod main market with 10 mins of walk. So you can reach the hotel in the late night safely. The only difficulty is more then 50 steps you got the climb from the hotel to reach the road to main market. Room on the 2nd floor has balcony giving good view of the mountain. Dalai lama temple, main market and walk the kora is walkable from this hotel. Bhagsunath waterfall and dal lake are not walkable from this, so you can get a rented bike or scooter from a shop name himalayan bike rental which is very close the hotel. So you can return the bike in the evening and get back to the hotel. I hope it is helpful to you for your stay in macleodganj. You can get bus or cab to dharmashala( down hill) from the main market in the morning.

You need to climb up and down around 200-300 steps. While view is awesome and rooms are clean

Location is good, hotel located in the lap of mountain.
Nice and comfortable stay. Ambience is good. Rich mountain covered with snow are easily visible from room window. Staff are very good and supportive. Its value for money.

The stay here is pathetic. From the view outside the rooms, inside was very poor. The most worst thing is when you enter the hotel you have to climb near about 66 stairs. No parking available.

The location was fine. The maintenance was also good
