Hotel Sonar Bangla, Puri

Staff behaviour is excellent. Service is too good. Just the food price is a bit high. Overall pretty good.

This was my 3rd stay in this hotel . Location fantastic . Restaurant top notch service . Behaviour is so good by every staffs . Ground floor rooms are worst nightmare. The bathrooms are lacking exhaust fan . Only window that is facing reception area . Rooms are so small , yet cozy. Please avoid ground floor rooms . See facing but lacking privacy and of course noisy . Other things in this hotel is really commendable. I am really liking this hotel .

we had booked 2 side sea view rooms for 2 days. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The sea view from the balcony was not direct but still okay since there is a rooftop Cafe with excellent ambience and full sea view. The food was good and all the staff were very courteous and helpful. Overall I look forward to staying at the property next time as well.

Amazing location top notch. if coming for jagannath darshan then this hotel is amazing for location and for its view. Amaaziiing ! Staff hospitality very good. The top point for this hotel is golden beach just in front of it. some improvements which can be amalgamated.. Room maintainance even the dustbins needs an update. Bathroom have rustic fittings. Breakfast ok ok

The hotel service is very good, but the price of food at the Rooftop restaurant seems a little higher.

Good Stay but you have ask for kits i.e. shaving kit, toiletries etc. every time. Food quality is excellent. Rooftop Cafe is also excellent and view from Cafe is awesome. Any one can spend whole day at Cafe.

Very overpriced

Property is in excellent location and overall clean and service was also Good. Food is above average and not so many variety.This is second time we satyed at Hotel sonar Bangla and floor preference is completely NIL, though it was well advanced booking and requested early as well.

Stay was comfortable but the check out time is very very imconvenient.They gave me a call at 7am to vacate by 8am which is their check out time. we have to vacate and sit in reception to wait for our onnward journey by trains etc. I hope they will make it 12noon for a relaxed and comfortable stay in Puri. Food is very costly and spicy. location and services however was good.

Bath room very small size with some problem , not clean upto the mark , wall tiles found too many Crack, found deposition . Mug and balti too dirty which huge hesitation for touch and used. food is high average.

the price of the lunch items are excessive rate (high rate). The room s are neat and clean and the toilet is also hygiene condition. The auto drivers are controlled by the hotel stuffs. They are taking very high rate other than local autos for talking site seeing (local) which is very bad practice.

Location good... beach is right next to the property.. but food is bad... breakfast is same every day and also quality is not upto the mark... Location good.. but food quality and variation is not upto the mark.. specially for breakfast they serve same items every day.. and bakery items are not at all fresh.. most of the bakery items are 2-3 days old… staff behaviour is ok… overall average stay.. rooms are good and view from platinum from sea view room is excellent

1. The hotel charged for one night which is pretty high compared to the services/amneties they gave us. For example - There was no chair or sofa or coffee table inside the room. The only furniture was the outside chair and table. 2. The check out time is before 8 am and the staff starts calling/ disturbing from 7 am in the morning which is quite irritating from a customer point of view. The staff came to our room with multiple reason multiple times without us calling them which was quite disturbing 4. the breakfast menu compared to charges had limited items and the food was not up to the standard of the money they are charging 3. The staff was very rude and not helpful at all
