Best Location Service Staff Room Breakfast and dinner arrangements

Awesome. Very comfortable. Food was very good. Service is also very good.

This is a serviced apartment and one cannot expect facilities of a Hotel. The room was good with cushion chairs, tables and chair, continuous hot water facility. The caretaker provided heater facility separately. The staff were very courteous and helpful through out our say. WiFi connections were not bad. There is a kitchen (complete with oven, fridge, utensils, aqua guard water filter, dining table) which one can use by paying. They also cook food to order. However, most of the items are highly priced. The caretaker was prompt in arranging vehicles but could not obtain permit to visit Tsongmo Lake. This was a great disappointment for us. The location is little far away from MG Marg but one can avail shared taxi.

Highly recommended although little far from MG Road. But you will get taxi available at a stone throw distance from morning to evening.

Situated in a prime location. Easily approachable from all important places like train, buses and taxi station. All are of walk-able distance. Available clean and hygienic foods. Services are prompt. Nice, polite, helpful and friendly staffs.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were big a homely feeling during stay. Cleanliness was up to mark. Best value for money home.

Breakfast provided is average quality. Inside bathroom having too much bad smell. Portable water heater provided was too much dirty even after replaced also not change the quality.
Portable water heater was dirty although it was replaced. Very Bad smell inside the bathroom even after open the window not change. Only one table fan provided same was fixed on the wall. However, hotel staffs are very much professional.

Excellent except for a spider was there in the room. However it disappeared.

I have been in almost every part of the country and stayed in hotels I don't even remember. But Hotel Shumbuk is by far one of my best experience. Rooms are bigger and clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Though it's bit far from MG Marg but it's quite manageable. I've got a meal as a complimentary which was also really good unlike other hotels. And with the average hotel price this could not be any better.

It was great stay, hotel stuffs were very helpful, excellent room service, foods were good, and room was very clean, money wise it was OK. Hotel stuffs can speak fluent english and very informative, helped a lot to find cab and make perfect travel plan, location is little far from center but its well connected, highly recommended.

Rooms were clean, staff were very cordial, location was well connected, food quality was very good, staff could understand English as I was not very proficient in Hindi that was an additional feature of this accommodation

This hotel is 4 km away from the Mg market. You have to take a reserved cab to reach to market & it would take 20-25 minutes approximately. You will not get any mountain view from the hotel room. Room, service is good & staff are very polite & helpful. Bath tub was not completely usable. Foods are a bit overpriced.

Everything is absolutely fine. The rooms, the service, the location, cleanliness & ofcource the quick response from owner. Only think I would suggest to improve is their own food quality available at the facility, however the food from their own hotel (Nearby) was very good. But overall I m giving rating as 'EXCELLENT'.

Rooms are good. All facilities including restaurant for veg and non veg available. 4 Km from main market. You can reach market spending Rs 20 per person or Rs 100 full taxi. Neat and clean. Hot water available through storage geysers

Good ambiance and spacious rooms room. service is good, no parking facility and good for combined families to stay but difficult for elder or old people for climbing the steps, which are very steep and from main road also road is very steep. But to take food we have to order before not available readily.

I was on my business trip and I was treated nicely. It's been a great experience staying in hotel Shumbuk. The surroundings were good with well maintained and it's like familiar in all aspects. The Staff were well disciplined helpful in all ground and cares about the wants of the guests whatever they needed with politely. At last thanks to the whole management of Hotel Shumbuk for their hospitality.

The hotel was located far from the city. The transportation facility was far from the hotel. The parking facility was not available at the hotel. The behaviour of the staff was friendly. The check in and check out was done on time. The overall service was good in the hotel. The activity was not conducted at the hotel. The allotted room was spacious with clean. All amenities were provided in working condition. The variety of food was available in the hotel The food quality was good in the hotel. The food was included in the package. I had visited this hotel with my family for relaxation purpose. I would not suggest anything to this hotel, I would recommend this hotel for upcoming travelers.
