familyChauhan palace is absolutely disgusting, doesn’t deserve any rating. The room cleanliness and hygiene is unsatisfactory and doesn’t match to any hotel standards. The hotel charged inr 4500- approx which is extremely overpriced, for a hotel of this kind. This hotel needs to be shut down immediately Even after having checked into the room, someone had showered in the bathroom and left the shampoo sachets and used soap in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was wet and freshly used. The bed linens were not fresh and they were stinking. Extremely unclean and unsanitary conditions. Indian trains are cleaner than this hotel’s rooms.

Dirty rooms and non availability of power

Hello. We have stayed in this hotel for one night and that to we had pure booked late check-in of 2230 hrs, so the stay was not even for 24 hrs. We have booked chauhan suite. It was a terrible experience. We were allotted one small room with horrible cleaning. Lenin provided was very dirty. Wash room and toilet were so bad shape like it was being used as public toilet. Not recommended to stay.

coupleDont get deceived by the external appearance of this hotel. It looks more pathetic from inside. I booked this hotel from makemytrip but that was my biggest blunder. The rooms were dirty, so were the beds. After telling hotel staff to change the bed clothes they argued and was not willing to change bed cloth. However, after several when they changed the new cloth had more stains than previous. They dont provide mineral water. Private parking is available. Hotel staffs seem to be drunk and not clean. The rooms were not at all comfortable. I highly do not recommend this hotel. Especially in jaisalmer, either stay at desert camps (which earlier i stayed and was good) or stay in a real 4 to 5 star property. This hotel is not even deemed for 1 star.

Hotel chauhan palace cannot be called as a hotel. It is just a dirty place having no facilities at all. Room and washroom were so dirty that it seems to not cleaned for ages. No drinking water, no hot water, no restaurant and above all nobody at the reception to contact. I searched for a person to report while checking out, i couldn't find anyone. I called on their numbers, but nobody answered. I used the intercom to call on reception. But it doesn't work. Mmt shouldn't offer this place as an option to its valued customers because we do not expect places like this on mmt.
