Himrab Chopta Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker

This is one of the besttt stays in Tungnath. Did not find a better place than this. Their food was really top notch, they cook really tasty food. the stay was really warm and cozy. They provide hot water to shower. one of the best stays.

The stay at this homestay in Chopta was cozy and peaceful, perfect for unwinding in the mountains. Due to the ongoing elections in Uttarakhand, most of the staff were away, but the caretaker went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Even though he wasn't the designated cook, he personally prepared my meals—and they were absolutely delicious! Really appreciated his warmth and hospitality. A very homely experience overall

Good and supportive staff at the hotel

Location of this resort is about 4 km away from the centre, a trekking of about 120 stairs minimum is needed to reach at the room, the room displayed during booking process was completely different from the room that was provided. Basic facilities like mirror, mat, geyser, hanger for clothes, etc. Was not provided in this rooms ( cost about 5000- per room per night. You will have to buy costly foods from their own restaurant. Only one thing is good for this hotel is the bed size.

Not worthy for the amount paid. It’s actually not a resort it’s a home stay. No kettle or geyser available in the room. My room was not even having any balcony or window so to say. Not worth the money paid

Excellent location and very comfortable stay in the lap of nature. Extremely scenic, the property provided a very homely comfort in an extremely challenging location. Excellent home-like food and prompt and pleasant service rounded off what turned out to be an excellent holiday

I had a very great experience at himrab. The rooms are very neat and clean plus spacious. The view from the room is breathtaking. Food and all the services are best here in addition to this staff is very cooperative specially dharam he also providing pick and drop facilities to their customers. I am very happy and going to book this again in future.

Service is so poor

Service is not good. Hotel staff was not cooperative. Food was billed incorrectly high. Overall worth not staying here.

Rooms are small in size. There are no basic facilities like tv, heater, geyser in rooms. Food is ok. Owners are nice and helpful

Staff is very supportive and helping, they have even help us our Driver to accomodate in ⛺ in winter, I can give 6 star service

Please do not travel with family, there was no water flow in wash basin, health faucet abed wash room was like 3. 5 x 6 feet. Amount paid 6000 for such a terrible stay,
