Glorious Gir Resort

Overall experience is good. The location is very serene and peaceful. The food and service are wonderful. The staff are cooperative and helpful.

Property location is far away - without own vehicle it is not preferable to stay here. We have very bad experience cab booked but not turn up. Else food and other amenities are good. Supporting staff is too very good in service.

It is a best place for vacation and relaxing oneself with enjoying best food and customer services. But need to replace stairs of swimming pool.

The property is value for money to stay, the ambiance was peaceful and awesome, as the property is close to forest, it's like feeling living and connected with nature. Staff was humble and helpful. Food was awesome with real kathiyawadi taste.

Property was good, rooms were clear, staff was helpful, property little far from main road but not much problem reaching there. They even arranged jain food and choviyar for us.

It was located in forest with excellent pure atmosphere and wild vibe and the best part was the treble dance

Happy to stay. Although slightly overpriced, but enjoyed our stay. Clean property. Food is good. Location wise couple of kilometers interior from the main road and a bit difficult to find after dark. But, you can see peacocks just behind the property. Large area with functional swimming pool. Mango garden inside the property (however, plucking mangoes are prohibited. Staffs are helpful. Will definitely recommend.

The surrounding environment is very good, staffs and managers are too good. Good food, we had fresh cow milk served and farm fresh chikku. Only drawback is the road, it's real terrible as there is no road at all. It's a muddy village road of around 2-3 km from the main road.

Cottage and amenities are good. Wash room to be cleaned and hygiene. No hot water for bath. Solar system for hot water not upto mark. Otherwise in all respects including food is excellent

Good stay, good food, housekeeping can be improved bit but a great stay in middle of gir forest. 5/5

Very basic accommodation in the room i was provided (minus any amenities such as soap or toiled paper. They also have cottages, but i have no idea how well they're appointed. The dinner served was ok, but being vegetarian proved inadequate for a carnivore like me. I guess they mainly cater to locals rather than people from other states. Having said that, the bajre ki roti, served with ghee and gur, was pretty tasty.

Wonderful & mesmerizing experience. Very friendly staff. Well furnished and managed place right in "jangal ki god men. Food was awesome, not regular preparation. But authentic cooking on chulha with wood fire and natural ingredients. Bone fire, and big swimming pool. Lush green garden. Simply awesome.

Room is average but bad smell in bathroom. Morning brakefast is same on both two days of my stay. Location is also at more interior area.

Superb resort. If u like nature please must visit this place. Lush green everywhere. If u want to experience village life this place is for u. Very healthy and hygienic food and breakfast. Very neat and clean property. Room, swimming pool, garden, children's play area everything is up to the mark. Caretaker bharat bhai and the entire staff behavior is very good and feels like family.

Glorious gir offers a stay in cottages which are nestled among-st a large number of mango trees. The property is well maintained and good value for money. Bharat bhai who is the property manager and his staff are always eager to listen to customer requests and do their best to help out. The restaurant dishes out traditional kathiyavadi menu which is very delicious and filling. The only little quibble is that the road to the resort is not a paved road and is off the beaten track. So the last mile or so is a drive on rural roads. But then that's how you get to stay on the edge of the forest no?

We had taken 4 cottages for 3 nights, they lacked basic facilities 1) some room had no hooks or rods to hang clothes 2) latch for bathroom door not working 3) ac operates only at night on request and 2 hrs in afternoon 4) only limited kathiyawadi food available, no other options, more limited for jain’s. 5) extra bed you get a “khatiya”. 6) hot water inconsistent 7) no glasses in room 8) stinky bathrooms 9) no bed sheet for extra bed 10) no reception or office 11) team of 3 - 4 people to do everything 12) no stools in the bathroom for senior citizen and showers also not working. 13) almost nothing for room service. 14) no toiletries or napkins only silver lining was that the staff was helpful in whatever they could do in short we paid per room day for a sanatorium

Place is nice and peace full, situated in center of jungal, about 2 km from resort there are no damar road, so be careful when you go in monsoon. Staff are co-operative and help full, food was very nice.
