One of the best places to have a short lake side holiday. Truly a nice place. Visited here 4 times in total till now. It's in kollam district. One can reach the place travelling by the most beautiful sea side road from kollam city. Had a ayurvedic spa massage here also and enjoyed it thoroughly. I had a wonderful stay here. It was my fourth stay in last 2 years. I like coming to this place again and again. It's scenic and pristine to stay the least. It's spa, boating facilities, sight seeing etc make it the most reasonable place to have a great trip. Rooms are too good, whole property is excellent. Price is also very reasonable. Just love this place.

As per name FRAGRANCE NATURE Resort, this is real Kerala Nature beauty.Best location to spend quality time. Best facilities House 🚢, speed boat, kayaking in mangrove forests available in resort. beautiful coffee house and excellent restaurant available in resort. I loved the resort, but the service was not upto the mark, one of the rooms was not provided with room service even after calling several times, and the utensils from last night food wasnt taken from the room, hence the smell was unvearable, and the air conditioning was poor in one of the rooms, even though i had paid a premium pricing i was not satisfied with the services and maintenance. All the food was good

Fragnant nature is a one stop place to get the complete feel of Kerala. The authentic food (Malabar fish curry is a killer) , river by the side and waking up to the sounds of water and the greens just makes your morning refreshing. Along with that property has something for everyone be it gym, swimming pool, activity room or badminton court you name it and property has it. There is no second thought for me where I am doing my bookings again the next time.

Beautiful Setting, Broken Promises - A Resort That Fails on Service

My rating: (2/5) for the location and view only. My stay at Fragrant Nature Resort was a classic tale of promise versus delivery, and unfortunately, the poor service completely overshadowed the beautiful surroundings. The Good (What They Got Right): Location & Maintenance: The resort's location is excellent. It is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and the stunning view of the lake is truly the highlight. Staff: The staff were... present. They were "OK," but not attentive or proactive. The Bad (Where It Fell Apart): Food & Hospitality: The food was not great and the hospitality needs significant improvement. The resort felt understaffed, leading to slow service. Broken Promises - The Final Straw: My last day was completely ruined due to their dishonesty and poor operations. My package, booked via MakeMyTrip, explicitly included a 10 AM boat ride and SPA access. For the boat ride, I was given a false excuse that the driver was sick. For my wife, they claimed the weather was bad. Upon investigating myself, I discovered they were lying and were actually willing to provide the service if I paid an extra amount. This is a blatant breach of trust. The SPA was perpetually "busy" and we never got to use this included amenity. The Unprofessional Response: When I raised these issues at checkout, the response was panicked and lame. They suddenly offered the boat ride and even proposed reimbursing me for the one I had to book externally. This felt like a hollow, last-minute cover-up attempt. A follow-up call from a manager, "Arun," did nothing to rectify the situation and felt like more of the same. Verdict: While the property is physically beautiful, it is let down by terrible service, operational chaos, and a culture of dishonesty. I cannot recommend Fragrant Nature Resort to anyone who values trust and reliable service.

As part of the special package booked through MakeMyTrip, your stay includes a complimentary common boat ride and a 15-minute spa session. To ensure your comfort and flexibility during your visit, our team has proactively reserved both sunrise and sunset boating slots for you. This is part of our standard practice for package guests, giving you the convenience of choosing the time that best suits your preferences. However, we understand that due to your personal convenience, you were unable to attend either of the scheduled boat rides. A similar situation occurred with the spa appointments—we offered multiple available time slots after checking with you, but unfortunately, none were utilized. Following this, you requested reimbursement for an external boat ride you arranged independently. Please note that this service was neither organized by us nor billed through our resort.

Excellent resort with very nice , cordial & friendly staff. Resort is well maintained. it's full of greenery . Beautiful, neat , clean and tidy gardens. Rooms are good and comfortable. Excellent food , room service & sunset tea cafe. Ayurvedic spa was amazing and excellent. Enjoyed Kayaking and speed boat driving to mangroves .

Good property overall

While the property is great, food is great .The villa rooms are very dimly lit . The size is fine but still feel suffocated because they are not airy and there is no natural light. On top there are so few wall lamps with dim yellow bulbs that its always dark. Throughout the day it feels nighttime inside room. Also the ACs are age old so there will some or the other issue with them.

Nice trip. Cruise trip was very beautiful. Lunch and breakfast were nice and tasty. But dinner can be given only 3.5 out of 5. Room was good. It would have been better if bathroom was little more spacious. Swimming pool lacks floating tubes for children. Overall nice experience

A very serene place, clean with great staff and good food and lot of privacy. The rooms are big and facilities available are great for a family, bachelors or corporate event

I recently stayed in a pool villa. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the ambiance was decent. The food was excellent, though prices were on the higher side. However, the villa itself did not offer value for the amount paid. It’s an older property, around 15 years old, with visible signs of wear. Cleanliness was satisfactory, but the villa tiles are old and worn, and the pool area lacks adequate lighting, making it unsafe at night. Overall, the experience did not fully meet expectations for the premium pricing.

Absolutely Amazing Stay and Beyond! We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Everything was top-notch — the food was delicious, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made our stay truly special. We also received a complimentary massage, and it was an absolute highlight! Shiva and Akhilesh did an excellent job — professional, relaxing, and rejuvenating. We truly loved this place and can't wait to visit again. Easily a 5-star and above experience. Highly recommended!
