Of all the hotels I’ve stayed, this one takes the cake for being the absolute worst. Sometimes, it just so happens that the hotel might be in bad shape, but if the staff is honest about the shortcomings and try their best without giving excuses, at least you know they’re trying. In this hotel though, the suffocating and damp (and smelly) room made the night so bad that I checked after just 7 hours. They did show me an alternate room with somewhat better ventilation but the smell was still unbearable and the sheets not properly washed, added to the same dampness. The excuse given was that all hotels in Bhopal would be like this during rains (during November), so this should be expected. This was obviously untrue since the next hotel I stayed at had both great rooms and great service at the same price as this hotel. Even before I checked in, I was unable to get in touch with the hotel since FabHotel has a centralised helpline where they didn’t have the correct phone number of the hotel in Bhopal. Their complete lack of interest in getting me the right number should have been a warning sign about their customer service. But I guess I had to learn the hard way.

I only gave 1 star because it’s a newly opened hotel — otherwise, the service was worse than a basic lodge. At check-in, I asked for a doormat and towel. The towel came at 3 PM, but the doormat never arrived. I had to walk out of the wet washroom directly onto the room floor, which became dirty and slippery. Four hours later, the AC started leaking like a waterfall — it was as if someone had opened a tap. After 2 more hours, I was shifted to another room, where the washroom didn’t even have a working light. They can brought a new bulb but they didn’t . The final blow: I requested a water bottle through room service, and even after 2 hours, no one delivered it. When I went down to the reception, all the staff — waiters, receptionist, and others — were chatting casually. When I asked about the water, they just said, “Now that you’re down here, you can take it yourself.” I was honestly shocked by this level of unprofessionalism. The staff, service, and management were absolutely pathetic. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Total waste of money and peace.

This hotel is perfect for anyone looking for an affordable stay with no compromise on comfort. The room was neat, the bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi connection was excellent. The staff were attentive and always available to assist. Located in a central area, it made my trip so much more convenient. Will definitely return
