DROID HOSTEL

Room is good and it is located in city center. Amenities are good, kitchen is available to prepare food and spacious room with good AC.

My stay was fabulous in Droid Hostel. Though it was a Hostel, felt like home and got to meet some fabulous people. Simple words, loved it

Beds in dormitory are very clean and comfortable to relax. Shared toilet and Bath room is clean and in working condition. Spacious balconies with good kitchen facilities and location is near to the bus Station. Value for the money in terms of facilities and cleanliness with perfect wifi.

The girl's dorm was OK because I went with a group. Just a problem you have to share toilets with around 12 people. And the girls' dorm didn't have a mirror. Not much cleaning done on a daily basis.

The fans where to noisy and the a/c at the specific bed I had was interrupting my sleep. Other then that it's good, value for money also has a washing machine!

For the proximity Around the Station and bus stand, the price offered is really good. Recommended for backpackers.

Suitable for solo travel, common bathroom, but maintenance is fine.

Droid Hostel is good fantastic

Droid hostel is a good place to stay if you are visiting Pondicherry. Rooms are comfortable and are quite well maintained. Clean. Fast wifi. Close to the bus stand from where you can take a rickshaw to the beach and White Town. Stayed here for 4 days and am quite satisfied. The host is a good guy, you can have a good conversation with him if you are traveling solo.

A place to sleep, clean washroom, a terrace, a kitchen to cook meals and an assortment of people. What else does one need? If you're looking for a budget stay and don't mind the distance, this is the place to be!

Stayed for a day. A clean and good place as a Solo traveller. Would recommend for the young lot.

I stayed there for two days. One of the best services I ever got in a journey. Location is not so hard to find, food we prepared in the kitchen. Balaji was good in helping in preparation of food. Everything was awesome.

Friendly staff, helpful, clean, good kitchen

The hostel is located in an area within 3 km from Pondicherry Railway Station and 1 km from Pondicherry Bus Station. If you are taking an auto rickshaws ask them to drop you at Nellithope. It is good Hostel. Though they will switch on the AC only during night.

It's worth every penny, the hotel caretaker Bala is very friendly in nature and very helping too. He allowed me 7 hrs early check in and late check out too without any extra cost. Everything is clean, their is a kitchen where you can make your own food if you want. Dining area where hostel mates can sit together and talk if want to drink alcohol in the hostel, it's totally cool to drink anything you want to smoke anything you want out on the terrace. Yes, there is a big terrace, it's safe for girls too. I just loved it met good people their too, felt like home.

Nice place to stay and easy to explore Pondicherry

Very well coordinated. Beds are spacious and clean.

I visited with my friend, this is my first hostel experience which I wanted to try, it was safe and good maintained rooms with shared bathroom. Only thing I felt was washrooms and bathrooms were little dirty because many people use it. Other than that, it was good and there is a good terrace as well as the kitchen which I have not used. Staff was good too.
