Amazing Stay at Downtown Hostel, Leh – Highly Recommended! I visited Ladakh from 3rd to 7th July and stayed at Downtown Hostel, which is conveniently located—just about 15 minutes from the airport and a 5 to 10-minute walk to Mall Road. The hostel truly exceeded my expectations. It's a great place to stay, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. They provide plenty of recreational options like foosball, chess, carrom, UNO cards, a music system, and even a projector for entertainment. The food is good, and there are multiple clean shared washrooms, which made the stay very comfortable. One thing I appreciated most was their flexible early check-in policy, depending on room availability. The hosts are extremely friendly, chill, and easy to deal with—they really make you feel at home. Honestly, I don't think anyone could have a complaint about this hostel. I personally witnessed how well they manage everything and how attentive they are to guests' needs. If you're heading to Leh and looking for a reliable, fun, and comfortable place to stay—Downtown Hostel is a solid choice!

We stayed there for a day and it was an amazing experience. The hostel is near to the airport and located just next to Chubi Petrol pump. The ambience is nice and warm. Hotel staff specially Manisha was great, always smiling and very helpful. We took a 3 bed dormitory. Beds were nice and cozy. Blankets could be bit better. Food was good enough but with limited menu. Overall the stay was excellent considering the budget in which we stayed.

The location in within a clumsy lane and reaching the place in a vehicle is a far possibility. You have to walk for around 1km to reach it. However, everything else about the property is great. Hospitable staff, the view from the rooftop, rooftop restaurant, the proximity to kashi viswanath temple, the cleanliness and courteousness of the staffs-all superb. Hence a 5star.

The rooms were clean but the toilet seat was broken. There is a cafeteria on top with a lot of games and open area but they did not have proper food options the people there were confused if they have anything to serve we ended up ordering omelette which didn't have salt in it. Excluding the food overall stay was pleasant.

At this cost very nice Downtown Hostel | Rooms & Cafe the only thing was with separate room also the washrooms are outside overall experience was very good nice staff welcoming vibe food not recommended instead try neha snacks nice food

Very pleasant experience , The ambience of downtown and the receptionist Mrs. Jigmat was very kind and friendly and she made very good food also please try her maggie and tea Overall the experience was very brilliant.

Our stay was very good and relaxing. We didn't felt that we are new to this place. Everything was good including the staff and their behavior. We will look forward visiting once again. Thanks

The stay was totally worth it. It was comfortable as the rooms had comfortable beds, overall the hostel was clean and the people here are very welcoming.

Good experience & view from Window was fantastic also food was good, I did dinner there and it was fantastic.

The staff members are exceedingly helpful and courteous. The cuisine had a homemade flavorful taste and prepared fresh when ordered.

At midnight 12 am we reached and greeted well; also after a long bike riding of 450km we got a hot water shower is a pleasure!

Nice place with beautiful experience and so kind people we booked it twice just because of there hospitality
