Dogra Inn Lachung

We booked this hotel for 7 people with map and 3 rooms. However, after arrival manager denied to provide us meal for 5 people. Moreover, he behaved very rudely, when we highlighted about bad food qualities.

Poorly maintained hotel. Not recommended for family.

Initially, I was quite skeptical about the hotel but when I reached there it was a pleasant surprise. It's about 3 km from Lachung located amidst beautiful surroundings on the way to Yumthang Valley. The staff was quite helpful and supportive. The room was quite large with clean beddings. The bathroom was looking new and clean. For lunch and dinner, you have to go to the dining area. Since the supply of vegetables etc is limited so you won't have many options in food. But the simple food served was very tasty. If you want a clean hotel with well-behaved staff at a reasonable rate then certainly Dogra Inn will suite you. I would like to stay here again. Overall a nice experience.

We stayed for one night at Dogra Inn, the location of the hotel is good which is on the way to Yumthang Valley and the rooms are clean but the service is very poor, we opted for the stay inclusive of breakfast for which we was given only two toasted breads each person, even the jam or butter is given only when asked twice. Felt disappointed with the breakfast as we pay a good amount to serve breakfast, may be the management could assist to look on this issue, service staffs don't respond properly this is the only reason which makes the stay at hotel a bad one.

Room was not so clean. For low temperature, no room heater was there. Maximum time there was no single person at reception desk. After reaching at hotel, we wait very Long time to check in, due to absence of staff at reception desk. So for family the hotel is not a good choice

Great stay. It is in the area of army campus. Excellent room. Very clean. Food was good. Staff very cooperative.

Geyser not working plus they charged extra for a heater.
At such cold place the hotels should be well equipped. The geyser was not working and no water supply. They charged me extra for heater which was not mentioned earlier. Do not opt for this hotel poor quality of service.

Behaviour of the staff people was friendly. Food was somewhat problematic. But it is good at cheaper price. You can visit. *This is a translation of the submitted review.
