Dewa Retreat (A Himalayan Boutique Hotel)

We stayed for 2 nights, the rooms were not clean, bedsheets were not clean. No hot water for shower. Overall worst place to stay. There are other many cheaper and better options to stay

I was travel-ling with my children and always choose property with swimming pool. However it was a big surprise for me when i came to know that pool is under maintenance and is not operational. Quite disheartening for my children. This should have been informed before booking the property.

Horrible property. Don’t know how it is rated as 4star. From the very beginning, reaching hotel is not easy from main road, no sign board or indication arrows for direction. One has to ask or call property for direction. When we reach property they allotted three rooms as per our stay. Upon entering the rooms one can easily sense the smell of deemak in its wooden flooring. Two bathrooms showed and tap were throwing electric current(not safe at all. When i complaint they immediately change the rooms. Bathroom we so stinky that gutter smell could be sensed from the wash basin. Above all ac was in working properly in the hot summer. In the mid night when when i requested that ac is not working they shifted us to other room. Paint and wooden flooring was damaged. The only good thing was pool n the food they served. Beside them this property is a hell.

Very bad experience ever room was not clean washroom was stinky we changed in another room it was worse than earlier i don’t know why people charge so much not even giving basic services food was ok ok but service was very poor swimming pool is also not very clean i think they people should not charge more than 2 k because their services are really poor and one more thing shower was discharging electric shocks

Hotel is situated in a small lane but Car can go there , lane is very close to market area .. nice Swimming pool, very clean and well managed overall. Breakfast was very nice good variety as well as they were serving hot and fresh also.. and staff is also very humble . Also there’s a nice Organic Cafe close to the Hotel.

Our stay with dewa retreat was good. The rooms are well maintained and the service provided was good. We have taken complementary breakfast which is ok but can be better and the location is little bit away from main spots like ram jhula and parmarth ashram you need to hire rickshaw which is time consuming process. Else everything was good.

Location of the hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean. Perfect for staying with your family. The staff was very co-operative. The only two things i would like to point out is that pool was not very clean. And they should extend the dinner timings till 11pm. It is closed at 10pm. Other than that, no complaints! we have had an amazing time there.

Wifi connectivity is poor. Food is good. Location is average, no tube facility in pool, this is 3 star property, room charges too high

The reception staff was not professional only enthusiastic in providing service to foreigners. Overpriced power failure at midnight no automatic backup started. Needs intervention. Food was hygeic and good. Room service was ok. But management needs to teach the front desk staff the basics of hospitality.

Stayed for 2 nights. From 20 th to 22nd march 2024. Nice clean room with 24x7 hot water. We were given a free upgrade to a room with a view of the hills. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Managed to grab a bite at their two restaurants namely sattvik, serving indian chinese & continental cuisine and pure soul cafe and organic kitchen which serves healthy options. Both serve a decent fare. And easy on the wallet too. Breakfast menu is good checked all the boxes for me. Mind u, this is a vegetarian place. So no non vegetarian food is available. A tad bit overpriced considering the options available. But hey no complaints. All in all a good place to stay for 2- 3 nights when u r in rishikesh.

The checkin and stay was quite comfortable. The rooms are of a good size and the hotel is surrounded by mountains and offers a good view.

All services has very poor. And food quantity was very bad. Room toilet was not ok. Water not come in bathrooms properly

I had booked two rooms for my family and they had a terrible experience at this property. Don't know how these hotels take good ratings. Toilet flush not working, no towels, broken taps, etc. Better remove this property from your listings.
