Colonel's Dacha | Valley-view Rooms

Room was extremely cramped, barely any space to stand/move beside the bed space. If you desire to sit and work, no space for a chair in room. The fan inside room had lots of dust in it. Flies are there everywhere in the region. Bathroom was big and spacious. Caretaker friendly and prompt.

The rooms are very small in size, poorly ventillated, unhygienic and in pathetic condition. The rooma are also very costly and poor fashioned.

The place is 4 km before kasol, location is good, staff is courteous. The only thing lacking is cleanliness and neatness. Overall average stay.

We went as a family with our dog We all loved the location of this place. Just behind the stay there is a beautiful forest and parvathi river. Where you can walk around and explore. It's a very serene environment and feels lovely to be there. Our dog also loved being here. There are other dogs too in the forest who are very disciplined. The caretaker of this place was always helpful and provided us with the services whenever we asked for. He made delicious homemade food which was also very healthy.

The location of the property is too good, quite and ample of parking space for vehicles. . Staff was very polite

As mentioned in the title this place needs a major renovation. Location is good, staff is good and well mannered, food was ok but the rooms were not upto the mark. They allowed us an early check-in and thank to that.

The location was great, close to Parvati River in a quite part a few miles out of Kasol Town. The staff was friendly but the food was horrible with limited options and poorly made. Guest can't be expected to find their own food options since this is out of Town. Room was fine but could have been down with more cleaning.

Photos and hotel don't match, so good rooms were too small and there was no proper heater facilities, no good food no bedroom services like geyser was not working.

Hotel location is very peaceful but food quality is not so good.

Location was great but the service and food was poor

The hospitality of the host was very good. The place was good and the lakeside area was nice. The food was provided by the property itself and it was pretty good. The rooms were spacious but had only one bathroom. One more bathroom could have been better as the rooms were very spacious and big. But overall it was a good stay.

It was a good property but not as expected. We were expecting that it will be a cottage but in actuality, it was not that. It was like a hotel, which was divided into small rooms. It was a clean and secure property. Room was small but fine. There was no mirror in the room. Only a small mirror was in the washroom. I would suggest them to put a mirror in the room also. The property was close to the market. Traffic noise could be heard from the property. Staff was good. They provided nice facilities.

Location was very nice, staff was also very good. Everything was nice. The staff arranged a trip from tracking which was amazing. Food was also very good.

Although this is a nice location but this one needs to upgrade on food service and cleaning. Even sometimes there is no lights in case of power cut. Inverter should be installed.

Location of the property was nice, but it was far from the City so, we found difficulties to reach the property. This was the perfect place for camping. The food quality, services, amenities all were good. Everything was as per the expectations. The caretaker and the owner was helpful, but there was no security guard on the property. We really enjoyed this stay.

The location is good and is located on the road leading to main Kasol market. The property is bill and rooms well prices.
The room is very basic and small. The bathroom is shared. It is good enough for a budget traveler. A little away from the Kasol main market but is a short trek away.

A beautiful getaway from the hustle bustle of city lives. Warm people managing the place added a personal touch. Very courteous host and kitchen Staff. Lovely clean food available at reasonable prices. A perfect for location and serenity added to the surroundings. Must try for families and couples looking to spend some quality time away from technology and the likes.
