I recently stayed at this charming homestay near Banjar in Tirthan Valley with my wife and child, and it turned out to be the perfect getaway we were looking for. Our hosts, Akanksha and Akhilesh, welcomed us with such warmth that we instantly felt at home. Their two dogs, Shadow and Alexa, added to the overall charm—our kid absolutely loved playing with them! The property is ideally located near the Tirthan River, and the sound of the flowing water is a constant soothing backdrop to your stay. The view from the balcony is incredible, with fruit orchards in the foreground and majestic mountains in the distance. It’s a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. The food at the homestay is freshly cooked, and we were delighted by the generous portion sizes and the delicious flavors. Every meal felt like a comforting home-cooked treat. We spent hours lounging in the well-lit café and garden area, which is beautifully designed with a bohemian vibe. They’ve got a good collection of books and board games, making it perfect for families or groups to enjoy their time together. One of the best parts about our stay was how attentive and friendly the staff was. They were always quick to respond to any requests and were genuinely sweet throughout our stay. As for Akanksha and Akhilesh, they’re the kind of hosts who love to engage with their guests but only if you’re up for it. We enjoyed a few long, pleasant conversations with them, which really added to the experience. There are plenty of scenic spots nearby, perfect for photography and casual day trips, so you’ll never run out of things to do. The property is amazing & has all the amenities that you require in a stay. Moreover, the hosts are really nice people. They even take care of your itinerary. It felt like luxury home where you have everything and most importantly peace.

Boho grove is a lovely place near the tirthan valley. My friend and i were travelling, and found it as a good base to explore the area and even to just chill. The rooms were lovely, and open out to a beautiful garden. The food was fresh and tasty. The host, akanksha helped us with whatever we needed: from booking fishing experiences, taxis and information we needed. She and her dogs are lovely to hangout with as well. The place was even prettier than in the photos!

The property is beautifully designed in a bohemian style. It is well maintained. The staff is polite and helpful, Food is Ok. River is accessible by walking a short distance of 200 mtrs.
