• St. Mary’s Island, which is (6.1 km) from the cottage requires a ferry ride to reach. It is known for its unique natural site (basalt rock formation). So it is both an educative as well as a fun location for families to visit.
• Daria-Bahadurgad Fort (1.4 km) is located on the 1.6 sq km wide area is a nice place to visit. There is no other way to reach the place apart from a boat (ferry).
• Vadabhandeshwara Balaram Temple, which is 1 km from the cottage, is known for its peacefulness. The idol of Lord Shri Balarama was installed at this temple, and the idol of Sri Krishna is at the famous Sri Krishna temple in Udupi.
• Sri Krishna Temple is at a distance of 7.5 Kms and famously known for Lord Sri Krishna, a Hindu God which is located at Udupi.
