Service is worst... Breakfast provided had insects in chole.. pillow had too many black spots... Leakage in toilet flush... Overpriced food with no taste... Receptionist is rude and has no interest in guest management...

The stay at beetle nut was pathetic cos first of all, the place is hot and humid with 99% humidity and no ac available due to which we couldn’t sleep at all. The restaurant at the reception area is filled with bugs and insects. We didn’t like the food either which was kind of mediocre but ok for a place like that.

only missing thing is AC as in summers it gets extremely hot n humid ... rest all good ..this is the only hotel in dawki nearby

It's Hot and Humid, There are power outages and the Hotel guys doesn't bother to switch on Backup. overall Beautiful Location but really poor management of the Property

*1/5 - disappointing stay at betelnut hotel* i recently had the misfortune of staying at betelnut hotel, and i must say, it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. The room's unbearable humidity and temperature made it impossible to relax, thanks to the absence of air conditioning. To make matters worse, the food options were extremely limited, with a menu that seemed to cater to only a select few. The quality of the food was average at best. But that wasn't all - the tv in my room was non-functional, which made the stay even more frustrating. Considering the price point, i expected a basic level of comfort and amenities. Unfortunately, betelnut hotel failed to deliver on all counts. *issues* - no air conditioning, leading to high humidity and temperature - limited food options - non-functional tv - poor value for money *recommendation* avoid this hotel until they address these basic issues. *rating breakdown* - cleanliness: 2/5 - comfort: 1/5 - amenities: 1/5 - food: 2/5 - value: 1/5 would not recommend. *additional tips* - ask about air conditioning before booking - check the menu before ordering food - inspect the room's amenities before checking in

There is no ac on both of the places and even climate was not cool. Rooms are good location was also good but there is so heating even they don't have ac.

Very bad location. Road is in very bad condition. They are charging 4500 for a room without AC. We did not stay in this hotel even after full payment. We stayed in a nearby hotel “Dawki View”

The hotel is little off road but located in a beautiful off beat place. Hotel people are cooperative. It was beautiful view from room. Little waking you can see river side camp and a beautiful river view

The rooms are a boiler full of insects. There were big spiders inside the room. The cooler was not working and it is very scary in the night. The rooms are 50 steps below, there is no lift.

Good food, good location as it’s surrounded by pine trees. But electricity was a problem as light went multiple times and no generator.

Very well maintained and clean rooms. So so food and service. Perfect location with close proximity to shnongpdeng.

Location bit interior, although rooms and service is good. However, they should repaint the walls. It feels bad to see water spots in room.

The restaurant has a good view of the river. From the room you can only see trees and forest but not the river. They only give a soap but no dental kit or a toothpaste even. There are no acs at the hill and the fan is terribly slow and humidity doesn’t help either. Even the restaurant has no ceiling fan or acs. It only has few of those table fans hanging from the pillar. Please check if the room includes breakfast. That may be very well be excluded and you will have to pay for that also.

Very remote and isolated location. Not worth all the hype about nature's beauty. The view from the resort is poor. It was a bad experience. Not recommended.

It is the only decent space plus restaurant available in shnonpedeng. The rest are campsites or homestays near the river. The room is clean and promises views of the betel-nut farm. The restaurant is clean and service is quick. There is massive power cuts and the hotel does not turn on the generator until asked. But in such a remote location it's understandable. The road to the place is very bad and narrow. Filled with huge rocks. Overall, i would say this is the best of the worst in shnonpdeng.

Place is located nearby to river with all water sport activities at walkable distance, restaurant food is tasty, you get view of river, bettlenut plantation and mountains from restaurant. Staff was courteous but the room and washroom could be cleaner

I had booked this resort as a last resort for our family vacation but the place was so serene and peaceful I’m glad . The resort is located near Kotagiri amidst tea plantations. Everyday we woke up to pleasant chirping of birds and a stream flowing nearby as the clouds went past us. They have some indoor and outdoor games for fun and campfire is also available at a cost. The last one kilometre is a tricky drive as it is in the tea plantations. They have good food ,decently priced. We had to wait for food longer than usual as they were a little understaffed during our visit, but all in all our stay was very pleasant and would definitely go back there again.
