Ayush Cottages

I had made the booking, based on the picture of cottage shown. But it is missing here. The picture of the cottage, i had to stay ( radha cottage) is not there.

Excellent ambience. Exceptional food quality at economical price. Only drawback has to travel steep hill slope, however that is quite irrelevant keeping in view quality of services provided by the Ayush cottage.

The place is beautiful within a jungle. Cottages are cozy and clean. Food is also good and services are quite good. Over all I found it amazing. The walk to the cottage is through a slight steep slope but you will love it. They help you with rented taxi

It's a good place away from City between trees. If you have more people then it's good to get away from busy crowded life. Food is good. It's like home. Staffs are also very friendly but not that much professional. Given that it's in a village it's fine. But that's where these guys can improve. Geyser was not working so they we're boiling water and giving us. Overall its a very peaceful place but they need to be a bit professional.

Had a good stay here. The help helped take our back down the 400metres trek down the hill which was difficult to walk for my mother when climbing upsides. The food was ridiculously expensive wherein we were charged 250 for simple veg rice, deal and a veggie food per person and 400 per person for non veg. There was wifi but it didn't reach all the rooms. There were tv cables but no tv. Many of the lights didn't work and light would go off occasionally. You can see the himalayas from here on a good day.
Disliked the weary feeling of the rooms.

Location is good, staff was cooperative, nice place away from city noice.

Cottage is far from main road. Distance from car parking to cottage is too much . Place is good with a beautiful view of the forest . From outside cottage is exactly as shown in the picture but from inside rooms are too basic. Bed in the room was not at all good (I didn't liked it at all). There is no TV in the rooms . A good cozy library is there . Owner is good and dedicated . He tries to do his best . Food is also good . Make My Trip charged way too high for the cottage . Disappointed with MMT.

The hotel is located beside Simtola Eco Park in Almora. There is a very steep downhill climb (almost half kilometres) to reach the hotel. It was very difficult for us to climb up and down. Other than that, the cottages were good and cosy. Food was good. View was great. But I won't suggest as the climb is very tiring and not safe for elderly people. Only if you are comfortable with half km trekking every time you want to go up and down, then go for this hotel.
