It was good stay at arya cottage at mahabaleshwar. Location is good, caretaker is very helpful and good service

Rooms were not clean. Sanitation was bad. There were bugs n insects in the rooms. The bedsheets looked like they were not cleaned. We found a nose pin probably of a previous guest. The first room which was offered to us was smelling bad. So we had to change rooms. There was no check in process. Caretaker was available at the property. One information for the travellers to mahabaleshwar is that mobile network reception is bad around the area. There were frequent power cuts. The only good thing about the place was the view which was beautiful.

While searching a lot in the hill station, i found this place very good at this cost. Overall rooms are cozy but that's fine for 1-2 day stay. No problem with hot water. There is a small lawn where you can enjoy chilled evening, camp fire is on demand and availability of dry wood. No restaurant but if you like home made food caretaker will cook for you. Parking space is there.

familyStay location is very excellent. It was a very nice stay and all the support staffs were very nice and helpful. They booked cab for travel-ling and even provided their own cab for returning to pune. But no food option is there and they provided food at night only. In lunch time they left us in a restaurant using their own car.

Security: 1. No security guard was present. 2. No one is preset if we required anything after evening. 3. Care taker was always when keys handover 4. No safety at all location- 1. Location is not good for monsoon seasons. Hygiene 1. No cleaner man present when we require 2. No hot water 3. No drinking water 4. Cottage ceiling made up of iron tins sounded horrible at night. 5. Food is not present

sorry for inconvenience caused to you 😔. Due to rainfall we were unable to provide u service as you required and for hot water there is solar water. Drinking water was aslo present only thing was that you should asked for it.

Place is far from bus stop and taxi charged 500 to reach there. Only good thing is it is located between farms n is peaceful. We have to ask for everything to the caretaker. He is helpful but we have to ask for hot water( for drinking as weather was very cold, breakfast. Food was given from restaurants when we ask for food. Most shocking thing was the overpriced food. Morning pohe-rs50-, tea- 30, chapati - rs 20- per piece ( normal chapati). Electricity was going too many times. There is no shop or market nearby. I think overall it is average. Services should be good as per the charges.
