Disappointed to find an Udaan property to be so terrible

Didn't expect an Udaan hotel to be such a disaster. AC didn't work the entire night and they arranged a stand fan as alternative. When asked they said since checkin was delayed (11pm) they aren't able to provide any other room. Booking was for 3 people including 1 child and I specifically asked for extra cot. I was provided a mattress on the floor. When asked they said they prioritize direct booking . Imagine how horrific my stay with them was.

Unfortunately, my experience was just average. Considering the price point, I expected a better-maintained room. Issues with the Room - The air conditioning duct was exposed and visible, which didn't quite fit the hotel's standards. - The water tap had a mind of its own and would turn on automatically. - To my surprise, there was no hair dryer in the room. Overall Experience While the hotel has potential, it falls short in terms of maintenance and attention to detail. For the price, I expected a more comfortable and hassle-free stay.

businessThere wasn’t any towels and toiletries in the room. No hangers no slippers. Waiters carrying their food packed in foil papers and laughing making noises in the hallway and lift. And once they exit the passenger lift it’s impossible to enter the lift because of foul smell they leave after using same lift right after their cigarette break. Highly dissatisfying experience.

familyIt was a very bad choice. Had to change the room because the flush was not working and hotel didn’t check it before allotting the room. People were smoking in the rooms and entire corridor including my room had smoke. I raised the issue with the hotel but they didn’t take any action. Smoking was against the hotel rules still it was allowed inside the premises. I had a very tough time sleeping with smoke all over. I certainly didn’t pay for such discomforts. Would suggest nobody should book this property if they care for their health and mental peace.
