Grand Oak location: Need 4*4 vehicle or a perfect rider to reach the location Food: Limited options for complimentary breakfast (Puri chole, Chole Bhature, Paranthas) that's it. Room: Booked valley view room, basically it's the same view from both the room category, Valley view, and Mountain view. Property needs maintainence, rooms are dirty, toilet with molds and many unhygienic patches.

We went on a friends trip and we booked it through MMT app seeing the ratings and reviews, we weren’t disappointed at all , the location is just perfect and with so much calmness, serene atmosphere it is a relaxation to its best, the staff is warm and courteous and takes good care of the guests

awesome location (serene, silent, pristine clean bird sanctuary), awesome hoapitality, awesome room (weiter's room), awesome presentation of food. night sky was absolutely breathtaking - watched constellations, satellites. couldnt find any negatives except for the last 3 km stretch of road which was in shambles. Not for people who can't afford walking (elderly, knee/hip/ankle problems) or who cant live without tv. only sound you hear is that of trees and birds. rooms have no tv (thank god). place does have wifi. electricity source solar so limited supply

This property has a warm ambience and a mellow feel that belongs to days gone by. It's a semi Heritage property with memorabilia from the days of British Raj. An excellent and courteous team of staff members looks after you so well. Food was excellent The tranquility and views may you wish you could extend your stay for some more days .

located inside the wildlife sanctuary the place offers a calm, cozy but thrilling experience. The rooms have a great balcony view, the rooms are kept warm even at freezing temperatures and the food both veg and non-veg is awesome(though the spread can be more). The service is impeccable and so is the staff. Its an isolated property where you can relax at peace. The route to the property is a bit challenging but the property takes care that you reach safely. Every direction of the property boasts of breathtaking views. Overall a perfect vacation for my family.

Overall excellent stay. The hospitality was really good. The property is beautiful and very tastefully done - retaining the vintage charm. The stay offers an excellent sunset and sunrise view. The last 600 m of the road is pretty bad and the hotel provides free pick up and drop in their 4x4 vehicle. The last 3 kms in the national park is slightly bad too and would need a car with good clearance - however the property is in constant touch and provides guidance and support as needed. Overall a great stay and would love to go again.

Words fall short of a nightmare experience we had with this hotel. This hotel is located in the middle of the sanctuary with extremely poor connectivity. The road to the hotel can’t even be called a road, it is so horrible. On the day of my check in, my repeated calls to the hotel were of no use as There is no signal, so neither the internet nor the calling works to reach the hotel. and they did not have the courtesy to call and check up on the arriving guests to make sure we reach safe as the roads have extremely poor connectivity. They hardly can be called a road, very unsafe and inaccessible for normal cars to drive on such steep and off road path. On finally reaching the simba café, When we tried calling the staff no one picked up, and neither were we able to find a single person in and around the café to guide us reach the hotel. On reaching up the hill to the hotel, we kept on shouting on the top of our lungs for 10 mins if even a single person is in the hotel. It seemed to be absolutely empty, as there was not a single guest car. The staff was not there in the entire property. No call had been answered by the property, we had no one to connect to/reach out as the hotel has zero network. Finally deciding to leave the property, we spot a man who claims to be the staff of simba café. On telling him the complete incident, he himself is not able to reach the property. There is no walkie talkie for the people to communicate. There are no sign boards, there is no mention of the pickup drop facility. Having charged such a substantial amount for 1 night, we had zero pre checkin service considering how in accessible the hotel is for any person. These guys are absolutely not bothered. The horrible and appalling experience I had is difficult to put into words but what feels the worst is their pathetic attitude. I demand my refund back in full.

I was stay there for 2 days with family. Property is good, neat and clean room. View from property is excellent. Concern is the road condition which is very poor intact last 1 kms was pathetic. Also there is no arrangement for driver stay, there is only cafe there for driver and it is very expensive.

Great stay in between the jungle. Staff was polite. Food was great. I think they should give offer which include dinner at the time of booking only as there is no other option to have food. If you want a quiet stay then go for it.

Kailash, ganesh and the entire staff made sure that we were very well taken care of. Not much to say about the property. It was a dreamland. Cherry on the top we got to see fresh snowfall. Absolutely rapturous views and a heritage property to live in inside a wildlife sanctuary. What more can we ask! wish to visit again!
