Thenmala Ecoresort

I and family used visit many places and mostly book hotels on MMT reviews.I recently visited Thenmala and booked Thenmala Ecoresort based on MMT reviews.The staffs where friendly and they delivered food on time.The property was good.But at night we had rats inside our room eating the food waste left on our dinning table.We where so embarrassed we couldn’t sleep well as the dinning table was close to our bed.We had paid almost 5000 and experienced such a unhygienic space.I reported it to hotel staff they didn’t even say a sorry.

Good service,food and location.Only drawback was that the rooms looked quite old and were not properly maintained.

Faculties was so kindly and stay and food was worth for the price

Mud cottage is not worth for the money we pay. It is overpriced and the room is not well maintained. It should be renovated before accomodation. The wooden fittings in the bathroom and other places are all damaged and needs immediate maintenanace.

family room was below restaurant, which was too noisy. was given another room, which was just a basic room. they told its there deluxe room it not worth the price.. had a small tv

The room was nice and neat, furnished with a queen-size cot, and a sofa bed. The resort has a spacious ground area with several ponds, lush plants, and plenty of trees. There are also two swimming pools—one specially designed for kids. The resort provides ample car parking space as well. The highlight is the beautiful multi-cuisine restaurant, which serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. Chicken biryani costs just ₹200, and a non-veg meal is only ₹120. Breakfast was superb, and dinner was served in a buffet style with a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. They provided wifi because in their area mobile network is weak. Their wifi signal was good. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, making the stay truly pleasant.

The resort itself is beautifully maintained — clean rooms, stunning views, and peaceful surroundings. The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool. The food was delicious with a good variety of local dishes.

The place is panoramic. But the mud cottage is not worth staying for a night. When i told them about this they agreed to put me in an ordinary room ( not cottage) for rs 2000 cash extra per day . As it was night i agreed and stayed for a day by paying rs 2000 cash extra. But I vacated the room after the first night (30/5/25) by forfeiting the stay on 31/5/25. But they issued a bill on 30/5/25showing that I checked out on 31/5/25 ! Think about their business ethics! I have forwarded to you on 30/5/25 itself their bill showing my check out as 31/5/25!So i stayed only for one night in an ordinary room by paying rs 2000 cash extra and forfeited 2nd night though I had paid you for two nights ! This brings down the credibility of Make My Trip. I have lost faith with the resort. Kindly don't reserve this mud cottage for night stay by taking nonrefundable advance payment by you.

We had a great stay at this resort, everything about it was fulfilling - the food, the staff, the location. We stayed in a family cottage and everyone enjoyed the time there

It was a pleasant stay we like md it very much. The resort was very beautiful. Kids will love it. Staffs were really helpful

The location of the property is good, but there is no activity in the resort, not suitable for vegetarians, swimming pool and park facility are excellent

1) The rooms are well maintained and cleaned. 2) The food was really good (dinner served at the lawn along with campfire) 3) The main highlight I would say is the hospitality shown by every staff. They are really kind with all the request. The owner was also really kind. 4) Adventure package is a must try (the prices are nominal). 5) Night safari is a good one if you really like to go on adventures road during the night time. (Though spotting animals is based on your luck) would recommend it. Overall a great place to enjoy and spend time with your family and friends. Would strongly recommend it to my other family members and friends. Finally a big shout to the guys for making our stay a most comfortable and memorable one. Thank you (will be coming back soon).
