The Vyshakh

The room given was not as shown in the advertisement. There is not even space to put our mobile, purse etc sine there is no desk available. Cupboard cannot be open since two chairs were placed awkwardly. Big disappointment was the toilet. Can't imagine smaller toilet than this in such a popular hotel. Even as per building rule the toilet size is not satisfying the minimum width. When the same was pointed out staff was so cool saying non ac rooms are like that only. No regrets or no apologies. I have stayed in the hotel before and the room was very cozy and decent. This time it was terrible experience.

AC was not working, Lift was out of service even fan was not working properly. Not expected from MMT

while most of the services was good, foung cockroach in bedroom and wash room apart from that the room was good the service was good and all staff was good

Good location, close to temple & good restaurant, you can view the temple from hotel. Only flaw furniture is bit dated & extremly small single lift

Room were clean.. The advantage I felt is that it is very nearby to the Temple. But the bathroom floor were very slippery and the food were also average only. Be don't expect too much,.

It is not worth for the amount you pay. Staff are not friendly. They do not provide break fast. I took only 15 minute to have the temple darsan but I had to wait 45 minutes for breakfast at their restaurant. They do not provide toiletry items except a small piece of soap. I will not recommend to any one

Room was small and no space for extra bed .. washroom was not good.. very bad.. didnt met my expectations..

As for Location- 5. Service-3. Room & facilities- 3. ( no hot water facilities). Price- over priced ( due to location- exploited). Limited car parking space was a comfort factor. Attached restaurant- reasonable.

The best part is the location, which makes it very convinient . The food served at the restaurant is also good.

It was temple festival time and heavy traffic in that locality. Approach took a little time. But location was very close to famous temple and very convenient. With a good vegetarian restaurant, one could not expect anything better if your visit to Guruvayur is for a visit to the famous Krishna temple

Room and bathroom was not kept well. Bedsheets were unclean with lots of stains. It would be nice if they kept a kettle and some coffee and tea packets instead of payable nut packets stay was not at all worthy of the payment

I booked for my uncle and Aunt. They enjoyed their stay. The Proximity to the temple is the primary attraction

This would be the best hotel for guruvayoor darshan. There is gate opening to east nada of temple. Very good food as well. Staff. Very helpful.

Very close to the temple and extremely suitable for senior citizens. Decent rooms. Clean linen. 24/7 hot water. Bathroom floor will be slippery sometimes. Restaurant is available with tasty food. Parking is available.

Excellent location. Just outside the temple. Food is good, service excellent. But room needs substantial improvement, poor lighting, only one plug point. Outdated bath room. But all these become acceptable when compared to location advantage. That’s why our first preference is always this hotel

Location is the redeeming factor as it is almost within the precincts of the temple. Apart from rest everything is just about ok for the price that is charged.

Visiting guruvayoor is always a pleasure and treasure for all the devotees and so as me. Hotel vyshakh has always given us to make our visit more comfortable and delightful due to its location as it is just a ten steps away from temple premises and it gives us a temple feeling overall.

It is almost feel like as we are staying inside the temple very much closest to the loud guruvayurappan. And experience the divine environment. Food is good as they displayed a board that food prepared from organic items only.

For the high rates they charge, I expected a much better standard of accommodation. Additionally, the parking facility was quite unsatisfactory. There wasn't enough space to accommodate all guests, leading to a frustrating experience every time we needed to park or retrieve our vehicle. My booking experience was also extremely frustrating. I had booked a room for myself and my husband two weeks prior to our stay, but I unintentionally ended up booking two rooms. When I realized this mistake, I promptly reached out to the hotel staff to cancel the extra room. Unfortunately, my request was denied without any explanation or consideration. I even tried to seek assistance from a friend who was staying in Guruvayoor, hoping to resolve the issue amicably. However, the management of Vyshakh Hotel was unyielding and refused to refund the amount for the canceled room. It was clear to me that customer satisfaction is not their priority; they are more focused on retaining money rather than addressing genuine mistakes. Given this experience, I have decided to take further action and approach the consumer court to seek justice. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider their options when booking at Guruvayoor Vyshakh, as the lack of support, outdated facilities, and inadequate parking make it an unappealing choice. There are certainly better alternatives available that prioritize customer care and satisfaction.

Location was good. Other than the location everything was average or poor for the rate charged. Not worth suggesting to anyone.
