The stay was beautiful at the shelter heritage. Pros- 1. Great management 2. Good staff 3. Warm homely atmosphere cons - 1. A/c doesn't work like it should 2. Toiletries should be provided at the start 3. Bathrooms can be cleaner

We have booked this hotel for 5 nights firstly we have been allocated room no 307 which was very suffocating post complain they have changed the room to 307 but problem remain tbe same. In the mid nigjt we feel e itching in our eyes due to wood burn in backside of the room, we have complain they have suggested to keep the window close. Cleanless was pathetic, we have complain but as per them it will not be possible on everyday, they dont eve m changing our bedsheet and towen. No soap or handwash refilling, no drinking water. While doing the final billing owner did a wrong billing then i corrected and clear it. At the end owner was forcing me to pay tip to them. It was very poor experience

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, very very polite staff. Clean washrooms. Tasty homelike food in dinner buffet. Just the location might be little difficult to find.

Good budgeted place. We stayed for a night. People and service very nice. Breakfast was also good

We stayed for 3 days. Nicely maintained rooms and good breakfast too. However hot water availability was a problem faced on each morning. On calling the property manager, he would respond well and usually managed hot water supply but it was cumbersome. Location is somewhat far from city area.

Rooms were clean, hygienic and staff was well behaved. Hotel was well maintained. It is located very near to the main market. Allover nice stay.

Good to stay if you are low with budget food is also good. As in i stayed there just because i had to sleep overnight…hot water 24/7…did not explore the property because checked out early.. staff was also good

Nice property located a bit away from the main city. Rooms were very good, clean and well maintained. Every facilities were available, buffet was good, overall the saty was awesome. Definitely recommend

Had a great experience in the shelter heritage

I booked 1 night and going to stay continue for 4 night because of cleanliness, host and. Home made food which i missing. They arranged my trip smoothly and staff is very cooperative

This place is listed value stay but is anything but that! location says near lal chowk but it is not even close to walk able, the area seems unsafe, food quality and options were terrible and the worst was once we got back from our day trip, it seemed like our bags had been searched. I did not feel safe at all and left the second day itself.

Pros- cleanliness, staff behaviour, extremely courteous cons- not worth the price, very basic bf menu, just toast, cereals and a pasta dish, no fruits or juice

Location was little off the main stream. Not many options for food close to the place. Stay is good.

Rooms are very small. Food option very limited.

Rooms are average with no great facilities, just you can have hot water, no soap would be provided, location is not great, owners have now made a new building which is not home stay or guest house rather a hotel like building, construction is going on and one has to pass through a narrow alley to reach to room, may in near future is will have a lavish entrance but not as of now and it would rather be a budget hotel in near future rather than a guest house/homestay. Food was fine was not expensive.

Homely stay and very helpful people. We had the best hospitality and great food. We got the South special Upma and Poha on request which was the best thing here, no less tastier than original!!! We also got good guidance ad help for sightseeing around. Totally satisfied with their service. The location is not that great, but what's important is to get safe stay and great food. If one needs home made food, this is the best place. Thanks once again to Ijaz bhai and his family who made our stay in Srinagar a memorable one.
