The Orange House | Valley-view Rooms

The orange house is the most sought after homestay in shimla. I'd strongly recommend people travel-ling with their families to go ahead and book this place without a second thought. My mom and i had the best and most comfortable stay one can ask for. The rooms are super clean, the food prepared by meera aunty is just delicious and otherworldly. I literally asked for a couple of her recipes. Yes, it was that good. Both uncle and aunty have a a way to make your stay welcoming and very warm. Also, they are the best people to take food recommendations in shimla. Aunt y suggested some absolutely best eating points nearby. What else do you need? also, it was just super fun to get to know them. They have some of the best stories. The view from the room is just beautiful. And auntie's love for plants give the homestay an added beauty, especially the balconies. It feels like now i have a definite place to go to whenever i am back in shimla again. Hands down the best stay by far. It really just made our shimla trip perfect.

The stay at orange house was magnificent. Meera ma'am and harminder sir are great hosts. I travel-led with my parents and stayed for 3 days. The house was very well decorated. We stayed in the orange room. It has a small terrace and the room was very neat and clean with amazing view of the mountains from the terrace. The warmth, comfort and homely atmosphere provided during our stay is inexplicable and can't be put to words. The food was amazing and cooked to our liking by meera ma'am, worth mentioning are the parathas which were very tasty. My parents and i loved the chit chat with meera ma'am and sir after the meals and the knowledge they provided about shimla and in general. Sir was very helpful to pick and drop us to some distance with our luggage given our driver was not confident enough to drive a narrow road. The caretaker, ajju was very helpful too and attended to everything we needed anytime. Definitely recommend homestay to anyone travel-ling to shimla ) )

When we reached simla railway station, we were disappointed with the weather and frustrated with the crowd of cab drivers jumping on us. Any how we reached the orange house while thinking whether we made the right decision by choosing this over a The Orange House | Valley-view Rooms. But man we couldn't be more wrong! this is the first place i have visited where the host welcomes you with a warmth like you were a long lost friend or family member. Ajju was super helpful and was so patient with all our queries. If you are looking for a place where you can rest peacefully after a tiring day then don't look for anything else. And yes, the food is awesome too. Tip: choose a balcony room for the best experience.

It was an amazing experience staying here. Mr and mars singh and ajju went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable. It is located in a very peaceful suburb. Rooms are extremely clean. Beautiful valley view from the balcony. Harminder ji was so kind and considerate to pick us up from nearby place so that we avoid walking all the way up, as my mother was suffering from knee pain. That was the sweetest gesture from their end. Breakfast was delicious. He even drew a map of places to explore for us. Thank you for hosting us and making our trip memorable.

It was an amazing experince staying at a homestay place was safe for females/solo travellers. Hospitality was overwelming, auntyji was so welcoming cleanliness and hygiene was well mantained its closest to sanjoli chonk/market food delivery apps delivery food within 30-45mins. We took complimentary breakfast which was delicious and totally home like. Room was comfy and cozy ofdering beautiful view from the balcony. It was a beautiful house with a feeling of belongingness. A home away from your home.

The orange house was a place like home away from home. The service & food was incredible. The hosts meera and her husband harminder were so warm and very hospitable. The rooms were clean and our balcony had a gorgeous view. We have to also mention that ajju who helped us during the stay was also very warm and helpful. We would definitely want to come again and experience the snow here. Thank you

Host of this home stay was just tooo good he’s so professional well spoken host i ever see.. and bs yatna bolunga bhot sweet family hai sir ki amazing breakfast must go yrrr trust me. And thankyou sir for that warm well come . Shimla Mai jada kuch krne ko hai nahi but aap ki yaad jarur bs gayi hai Tq ones again .

Everything about orange house is superb. So cleanliness was there in the whole house that no 5 star The Orange House | Valley-view Rooms can compete with this property. And the breakfast they provided was healthy and awesome.

My stay at the orange house is really memorable, i would recommend this to everyone visiting shimla. The host of the property is very welcoming and she prepared food for us with all her heart. Rooms were also neat and clean.

The stay was very comfortable with a beautifully valley view. Host was super friendly and helpful. Just the location was away from city centre and was difficult to reach.
