The Maitreya Ladakh

Stay is great, it's a family owner Hotel, very warm and welcoming staff, food is also good for both breakfast and dinner, would highly recommend staying here.

Hotel is beautiful but it’s the experience that has made our stay worthwhile and credit goes to for Mr Dorjee who made our stay in Ladakh memorable for going out of the way to facilitate everything

Hotel location is good. All staff is humble. Especially mr. Dorje was cooperative person. Rooms are neat abed clean. 5

Good handicrafts collection at hotel basement. The staffs are cooperative and helpful. But, being mm t booking as family of four expected one extra bed/matress which was not there but obtained on request.

The image of the room has bathtub but when in the hotel there was no bathtub

At 6k per night, it’s very high priced compared to other hotels in similar range. Hotel rooms are not at all maintained and no feel good factor. Taxi services taken from hotel was terrible, highly disappointed.

It was a good stay at the maithreya. Vegetarian food, room cleanliness, hospitality were nice. Room heater could have been more effective. Overall, we found the hotel to be good

Staff is very cooperative especially, manager dorjoy. He arranged for the cabs for us and was always available on call. Breakfast and dinner served was very good. Garden is well maintained, you can spend hours there and relax. Only downside, is that this hotel is 1. 5 kms from city center, so if you want to go to main market with kids, you may have to shell out 250-500.

I did not like the food as it was bland and the variety is not much. They stop the services pretty early. But room is spacious and people are sweet.

Due to lower occupancy, we had to suffer horribly with almost nil services. They did not on heating system in October in Leh. Beds and carpets were not clean. No staff to serve, horrible food. Sat in hotel room without power for almost an hour. Switched on the DG set upon 3rd harsh reminder. Ignorant behaviour. As if nothing can be done now. You have already paid through MMT.

A little away from Leh main market, around 2 kilometer. Room service is terrible, with only manager willing to help. Hotel staff, especially from the kitchen are rude and unwilling to provide any service. Once, they didn't even provide water at 10:00 pm even after calling them twice. No coordination between reception and kitchen. One person from the kitchen even fought with our next door guests. Overall, not a great experience. They didn't run centralized heater in the room even for a single day after we complained so many times. They outright refused to run it.

The only place in India with superb iconic natural scenery.
Hotel was simply amazing.

Facilities of hotel were good but view of the city from the hotel was not available from ground floor, this may be avail from 1st & 2nd floor.
