The Himalayan Heaven | Mountain-view Rooms

Our family stayed here for 3 days. The homestay was safe and friendly. We got really good food and great service. Recommended when u visit jibhi.

We have to climb 60 stairs before to enter the hotel.These stairs are dirty with no side railings.The rooms are not up to mark.No intercom,no refrigerator,no hot kettle ,no complementary tea,no proper lighting,bedding of low quality,in toilet no soap dispenser.The rent charged for room does match with standards of hotel.

The room was fine. Reaching the hotel itself was a trek. As mentioned on their page, there is no parking. a shared parking exists, but needs some extra driving skills to park. The staff was helpful. Food was ok. Though they would make it to your taste. Young guys can easily go. People knee issues will have lot of difficulty. Overall the stay was fine. Would have graded better if the accessibility was easier and parking was comfortable.

The hotel was nice. The food was excellent. There is a dog on the property called Leo who is super friendly. The room and washroom were clean and we'll maintained. only issue with this place is reaching there. There is a short treck from the river which involves alot of steps and some which are very steep. Elderly people won't be able to make it up to the hotel. Only

The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet still peaceful and quiet at night. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, with plenty of variety and fresh options.

The Himalayan Heaven is indeed a heaven in the mountains. Surrounded by lush greens, a calm river right below and absolute calm away from the hustle bustle of the highway. The couple and caretakers of the property are very sweet, safe and helpful people. They were available everytime i needed them! The food was delicious and given in a timely manner. One day before my travel, there was an issue with the roads which would have made my travel difficult. The property managers made sure to inform me all this as soon as they knew so that i could make alternate arrangements. Big gratitude to them. Further, the rooms are clean, the balcony is beautiful and the bed is cozy. If you want to be fully nestled into the mountains, this is the place to be. As a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe here. A small word of caution for those who have physical ailments or problems with physical agility - the climb to this property takes some effort, it is only a 3-4 min trek and they help you with the luggage so that you can climb up in peace. But if you struggle with a disability or some physical issue, then you’d probably want to live closer to the main road. For me this was not a problem at all, and so the stay was perfect for me! First things first. This place is across the river i.e. you will have to walk about 200 mtrs to reach the place, which involves climbing down to river level from road, crossing a small bridge and then climbing up about 100 odd uneven stairs to reach the property. They do send their staff the pick up your luggage, but the walking and climbing has to be done by you :). So if you are a senior citizen or travelling with one or have heavy luggage, think twice. That's just how the property is placed. Now the best part, the property is well maintained, rooms are big, airy and clean. The staff is extremely hospitable and are always ready to help with a smile. They have a dog called Leo, who is super friendly, but this also makes the place not pet friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Himalayan Heavens Homestay as a couple. The location was absolutely serene, offering a peaceful and scenic retreat. The property is located near a stream and has an amazing view. The rooms and washrooms were extremely clean and hygienic. The staff there were very welcoming and made the stay comfortable.

The view is good and the rooms are luxurious. We can see the forest and river from the balcony. But there is no tv in here. Staffs are very helpful.

Awesome host, excellent rooms with great views and location. Close to the market and yet within wilderness and very peaceful surroundings. You can hear the river flowing.

The staff is very rude, they don’t know how to talk to their customers. The food is also very unhealthy and not cooked properly. They are cheaters, there way of looking towards girls is also very annoying. I will request you not to go at this place. Not safe for girls
