The Grand Thakar

This is a no nonsense hotel which is located in a good area in Rajkot. Rooms are small, facilities are sparse but things are manageable. Best part is you get to eat in their restaurant without waiting in a long line.

Nice location, Nice Restaurant, Nice Food, Clean Room with all type toiletries. Good staff with polite behavior.

The staffs are very helpful and do the things with smile. Hotel restaurant is very good and serve delicious Gujarati dishes. Rooms are clean and have most of the facilities. Only down side we faced is rooms were bit smelly at the beginning.

Very prime location, near Railway station, spacious room, excellent amenities. Excellent restaurant for traditional Gujarati Thali and in room service they provide ala carte

The guest rooms were very big and the beds were neat. The staff was very helpful. I was very clean. The bathroom was clean. Everything in the bathroom was neatly arranged. The bedsheet was very nice. The air in the room was very good. The AC worked very well. The toilet was clean. The toilet accessories were very good. All over, everything was fine. The reception was very spacious. It was like a five-star category. Free.

hotel stay was on some friends recommendation. The food quality , taste and service staff these factors are fabulous. Hope to reconnect for future endeavours

Very respective staffs there and I feel very safe at Thakar hotel always. Perfect delicious food they serve .. specially Gujarati good is very tasty. And well mannered staffs at reception too .. thanks

No Centralized AC working ...Wedding Party guests late at night ..even after reporting to the management...unable to get change / other room ..

Excellent rooms Good food and location

the hotel was good. but we faced another issue. I had booked the room for 2 adults and 2 children and paid accordingly for extra bed. however, on reaching hotel at 9 pm, we were told to pay extra for the bed. I contacted MMT and they confirmed that charges for extra bed was already paid and they would resolve the matter with the hotel. even after 2 hours nothing was done

Good stay .... Not peaceful coz lots of noise of music plays in the night as there is also banquet hall .... excellent food ...friendly staff

I found this on the aap, but the property food was pathetic and same was there services, they claim for complementary breakfast but come up with excuses about milk was spoiled so no tea and cook not available so nothing to eat etc... amenities was good. rest services average only.

Lift was not working, every-time had yo take staircase to 3rd floor. Rooms are very congested
