The Ashoka Hotels & Resorts, Mohangadi

The 2 points I have given is only for the interiors which are new. The service and cleanliness was pathetic. The room was very dirty. I had to call housekeeping after checking in to clear dirt, spider webs and remove the lizard from the room. The food was good taste wise but the service wasn't upto the mark. The menu communicated is different by different staffs. Even they serve differently. I had my dinner without raita and papad and upon asking it was not in menu. When my family members went for dinner in 10 mins, they were served with raita and papad to give an example. Even with good number of crowd, they don't serve buffet and only offer limited variety even after booking the meals while booking. And this is the only hotel I have seen who provides only single 1 litre water bottle for the day between 3 people. Rest you have to buy. They even didn't sell a cold drink bottle and pushed to be sold only in glass. The hotel is 3 km outside city so no grocery or general store is available. For the price they charge, I won't recommend this to anyone and would suggest This was the most non-guest friendly hotels I have ever stayed in. Cleanliness is very very poor.

The place is nice and clean. The food is also nice and staff is cooperative. The rooms and corridors are spacious.

Breakfast included in package not provided inspite of telling staff previous night. Mosquito repellent in rooms must. Thanks

We stayed there 3 nights. During our stay, there was a power cut for almost 2 nights & staff never wished to turn on the generator and they wanted to run the room on the inverter where only a fan and a small light remained on. We insisted them to turn on the generator but they were avoiding doing so. After we scolded them, they turned on the generator. Now imagine how we would have stayed there in heavy summers!!! Same problem was with the Wi-Fi. It was not working, we informed them thrice but no one was that attentive and willing to fix the problem. Management staff including owner has no professionalism to deal with the guests, they all were a bit arrogant and they did not value the guest. The entire kitchen and other hotel staff were untrained. Management staff was insisting us to book hotel offline. Our question was, if they want offline booking than why they are on different hotel booking platforms? We booked the hotel including breakfast but due to jungle safaris, we couldn't have the breakfast. So, we insisted that they compensate the breakfast's cost with our lunch /dinner, but they refused to do that. We never ever recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

AC was not functioning as we reached our rooms. We had to change the rooms(upgraded) ones,out of which one room's AC was again found to be non functional. To which they again offered to change the room. Found cobwebs in the bathroom. Food service was extremely slow. Ordered a simple meal of dal,roti and rice which took almost an hour. Had an uncomfortable experience.

It is indeed an excellent property with beautiful location. The staff was polite and courteous. Rooms were very good with good wood work. Food was very nice and tasty. We had a comfortable stay at this property.

Hi my stay in the ashoka hotel and resorts was very comfortable because the location was the very good stay away from the crowd of city. And the room was very spacious and clean this is new property and all the staff was very helpfull food was only veg but taste was good

Good Experience. well-maintained pool and spa to a fully-equipped gym. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient

it was a wonderful stay with the room facing the jungle and the scenic beauty, room amenities and size was very good

Stay overall was good and comfortable. Rooms were good and clean. Staff was courteous. However, taste of food can be improved a bit.
