Terrible Stay

We stayed here for a night, and honestly, it was a disappointing experience. The approach road to the hotel is in terrible condition — full of potholes, uneven surfaces, and almost non-motorable during rains. It seems like it hasn’t been maintained in years. the actual property and rooms look completely different, much smaller and poorly maintained. The food served was below average, both in taste and quality, and hygiene standards were clearly lacking throughout the stay. Another major concern is safety — there is no fencing or proper boundary, even though the property is located in the middle of a jungle. It doesn’t feel secure at all, especially at night. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless the management seriously improves the access road, maintenance, cleanliness, and basic safety measures.

We stayed at Serene Uru, Mudigere. The food cooked by the caretaker was okay, though the options could have been better. The caretaker was cooperative and did his work, but the main concern is hygiene. The property has a dog that roams freely, even entering the kitchen and lounge area. Because of this, the entire lounge had an odd smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. If the management can improve cleanliness, restrict pets from food preparation and dining areas, and provide better food options, the overall experience would be much better.
