Satkar Paradise

My overall stay was good but it would have been better if I could just get an ac room through MMT you really need to switch to AC room as it's so hot in Manipal to stay there.

Tv wasn't working bed was really small. Only small water bottles provided

No service of any sort. Not even water. No intercom. No way to talk to reception. Needed ad fictional blanket. Had to go at 12 in the night twice to get. Response is poor. Except room nothing else. Be careful, they charge for AC separately.

Nice spacious but the service was little poor, the tv didn't work the whole time.

Staff are friendly. Hotel is maintained good. Only issue is breakfast is limited to single item.

I am a regular traveler to Manipal but this was my first stay at this hotel. I arrived on a Thursday morning and left on Friday evening and hence booked the room for Wednesday night and Thursday night, so that I would not be kept waiting when I arrived. There was still some initial confusion about how long I could stay which was sorted out later. The package included breakfast, but I didn't get any on the day I arrived as it was a solar eclipse that morning and it seems they don't serve breakfast due to the eclipse. The next morning, I had to go out at 7:00 am and again didn't get breakfast as they serve it only at 8:00 am. I was promised some tea at 7:00 am but that didn't arrive. The rooms themselves were decent and well maintained and well worth the price. There was a small kitchenette in the room, but they didn't provide any vessel to cook nor much of any cutlery. I also missed some niceties like complimentary tea bags, milk and sugar that I normally find in hotels at this price range. The tv in the room had Tata sky service and it was not functional as the account was not activated. The tv showed a message that the account must be activated however even after repeated requests they didn't bother to activate it and gave some excuse of a cable problem. I first had a Non-Ac room and that was dreadfully hot as there was not much of any ventilation. However, they upgraded me to an Ac room for a small fee and that was quite comfortable. Do not go for a Non-Ac room. It can be quite uncomfortable. The front desk staff present during the day was courteous but can't say the same about the person present during the night. Overall an average experience.

Hotel as such was good and clean. But all the services mentioned in the description was not there and it caused us a lot of inconvenience.

Rooms look good. But are not maintained well. Especially the bathroom. Lights are always off in the corridor at night. Breakfast is the worst

Place is easily accessible and had a excellent stay.

Stay here was pleasant. But a few faults here and there. Like the blankets given were big enough for two people when requested we were given a bedspread instead of a blanket. Otherwise the staff are very nice and helpful. Recommended for max 2 people and short stays.

The stay was great. The service provided by the staff of the hotel was nice. The location of the property was easy to find. I have been to Satkar Paradise many times and every time my visit gets better. The bathroom flush was not working properly. The breakfast provided was good but, it could have been better.

The location was good, it was easily reachable. Cleanliness was up to the mark. This is a suggestible property for all.

Satkar Paradise is a pretty nice property. We had a very comfortable stay. It was situated in a very in place in the City. The staff was very helpful, they booked a cab for us which they don't have to. Very satisfied with the stay. I would love to recommend this property to others.

Overall, it was a good stay. Rooms were cleaned and properly maintained. The facilities provided in the property were not up to the mark.

Stayed for a day with my son who studies in MIT. Location and room ambience was good. However hotel misses on basic customer requirements. Hot water, tissue and even basic items for making tea coffee were missing. Overall not satisfied. There are better options in manual.
