it is a superb experience and enjoyed lott resort and private beach super and food taste is good nd price also worth

The location and room are good but ac is not available, the food was not so great, sea food was not available, basic needs like the fan was making noise need more improvement as they charging so much

The property is located on a secluded beach in Village Kagal almost 12 kms from Kumta… Without own transport it is very difficult to travel around.. if one wants to venture out to nearby places like Gokarna, Sana Caves etc, one needs to hire cab which is exorbitantly priced… The approach road to the property is very poor and requires skilled drivers.. The advertisement of the property on website is misleading as no where it is mentioned that the property is non AC and has very basic amenities which is not expected for the price being charged.. the room had only one bed and a shoe rack kind of furniture.. The property is good if you are planning to visit in winters… March- April, the daytime becomes unbearable to stay and one cannot venture out due to heat.. the rooms have tiles which naturally heats up in the sun and thus the discomfort during march April..There is no provision for complimentary drinking water… there are no eating joints nearby and you have to depend on the property for food.. the food was exorbitantly priced for the quantity and quality provided… Travelling to Gokarna is very inconvenient and will take up lot of effort and money… shortest way is to take the ferry from Aghanashini Jetty to Tadapi Jetty and then take auto to venture into Gokarna…however it is not so simple as it seems.. the auto fares on both sides are exorbitant… if not taking the jetty, Gokarna is 40 kms one way from the property ..this resort is good if you are on a budget and are happy with the most bare minimum facility provided and dont want to move around at all… The property surroundings is good and its enjoyable during winters and one can have fun during that season.. stay at the property is not recommended in warmer months.. we booked for three days i.e. 25th to 28th March however we decided to check out one day early as we were finding it uncomfortable, we are grateful to the owner that we were refunded the room rent.. only recommendation is that the rooms can have few more furniture like a chair and side table and complimentary drinking water and Air-conditioning ( a basic requirement in today’s scenario) and also recommend to fix the approach road for a easy entry and exit…

The property is right next to the beach! I loved it. Only thing is I wished there rooms had AC. The heat is unbearable in summer during the day. The caretakers so so so nice and helpful and the food, although lesser quantity, is very very good. I think the beach being right infront was the main highlight. The caretaker helps you arrange and plan your trips so you don’t have to worry. Another thing to keep in mind is that this property is in Kumta, not in Gokarna… so while coming via train, get down at Gokarna and then take an auto/cab to the property.

The place is great and at a secluded spot. The scenery by the beach stay is lovely. The host bad-shah was very helpful and friendly and made our check in process east and straight forward. Since the location is at a secluded place, the way to get here is a bit rocky, bumpy, that is the only downside of the property. Everything else is a huge plus!

The stay is awesome and activities they arranged were splendid. Food was great and overall ambience is good. Peaceful and calm is what the place is.

The rooms are neat and clean, the manager pasha is gem at heart. Property is well maintained on the beach, food was ok, need to work on it. Nonveg food only bones so not satisfied. Rest the accommodation was amazing.

Excellent stay. Peaceful ambiance. Owner and worker are very helpful. Especially badashaha. Food is little costly but manageable.

One of the pleasant stay near beach and it's best with group and since we were in group so it was very comfortable and the host was awesome

The property is right on the beach but location is very remote and feels unsafe while traveling with family and kids. Also it feels like you're stuck on some island or something. No shops anywhere near the property not even a medical store. Nearest town is 10km away. Also the rooms were very small and insects ant were coming into the room. The only things that were good about the property was the view and ambience of the dining area. But the best thing was the food. Everything tasted just awesome. Fish were freshly caught from the sea so it was just awesome. And the caretaker was very helpful and made us feel like home.

So peace and quite. We had a candle light dinner at the beach and the every single member put so much effort to make it perfect, that it made our evening!

Had a great time and room was well maintained. The serivce and food was good. If u seek for peace then this beachstay is the right place for you. Also we took North Cost Adventures for water activity they have good package with reasoniable price. Thank you Sandy Shores Beachstay. you can have a peacefull holiday

Overall the property is nicely located for a peaceful getaway. The staffs are really courteous and take a great care of you during your stay. The food is excellent and serving time is also great. The only down side is the hygiene of the room in general. We didn't like sharing our rooms will 4-5 lizards and other strange reptiles/inspects clinging on to the roof and walls. Would recommend this place if you are not a hygiene freak in general.

The resort is at a very peaceful place. I send two data there and had the best time. No crowd near the beach. The food is also good and prices are also nominal. I’ll recommend this to anyone who’s going to gokarna. Just take a ferry to this place or rent a scotty from gokarana.

Loved the location! remote beach with beautiful trees. Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms can be maintained cleaner and better. The area around the stay are pretty remote and difficult to get autos to the place.

Easy and hassle free check-in. Clean cottage. Great ambience. Food is okay but a bit pricey. Overall very good experience. Would recommend for a gear weekend getaway!

location : Easy to find. Use Google maps food : 4/5 service: 5/5 host : Multilingual. They have tents as well. They provide you guide for cave exploration and Trek. Others: comfortable beds, Clean toilets and cat to pet😁. Overall our stay was great.
