Royal Castle Resort

In resort there is no food facility are even no small canteen me and my family walk around 2kms from resort for food and break fast and in the resort lot of mosquitoes no proper maintenance in the resort it's very tuff to stay in the resort even water bottles also not there in the resort. I was shared already main problems in the resort they solved these all problems it's is best stay for every one i was paid 2300- above but basic need are not available it's very bad for me and i have kid he is asking some food but not available at resort i feel it's not for my money also

Rooms were clean but bathrooms were untidy. Manager karthik was very helpful in booking cabs and coordinating with us. Overall a simple and decent stay.

It’s utterly poor facility for what i paid. Charged / for 2 days and my review is based on the price vs the service and facilities available. 1. Firstly the room was not cleaned, one can feel the dust walking in the room 2. No hot water, no towels, no soap/hand wash 3. The water used for bath and washing is very hard and you will directly see the mud in the bucket and mugs from the water 4. Bathroom door doesn’t lock 5. They provide a thin bed sheet and i was sleepless because of the cold weather as this bedsheet won’t be sufficient 6. Some people were drunk outside and were keep on talking till midnight and unfortunately we will hear all the noise from outside. 7. You can’t communicate in english. 8. Tv doesn’t work. In terms of positives they are flexible in checkin and check out timings. The ambience is bit better with the fields/farms around but there are mosquitoes and outside the dogs will scare us as they try to come at us while we walk in and out. My review is based on the prices i paid, if this would have come at the budget of 800/ day then the facilities are match.

When we reached at the property no one was there for checkin we need to search entire property for the person then i need to call support for the same

The rooms were spacious and clean, but the bathroom locks were not working. Also, there is a communication gap with the property manager, as he doesn't understand English or Hindi properly.

It was very good place to stay, pleasant and calm

I would rate this stay as very bad because of many things, firstly room was full of spiders and insects, windows did not have curtains. The major setback was bathroom. Not a single tap was working, toilet seat was broken, jet spray was not working. How could one can expect using bathroom without jet spray? no hot water. Basically bathroom was like public toilets. No soap or shampoo or bodywash was provided. We carried our own handwash otherwise there was no option to wash hands. And because of remote location of property there was no chance of buying something. I guess host should stay once at his own property and use all the amenities then i think he will try to fix all these. Price was too high for this property looking at the condition. Only thing was it is near to is-ha foundation (9kms. We doesn't have any other choice to stay nearby otherwise one should not never book this. Care taker don't understand hindi or english so you can't explain him what's wrong. Overall, a very terrible experience with my family.

Nice, the service was nice we reached on time

Basic food is available, taste is good. Decent stay near is-ha foundation. The water pond beside the property is in bad condition and it should be closed. Only one care taker and his help is just basic.

It's a cow shed. Nothing like hotel nor castle. It was a nightmare just by looking. My driver was laughing at me and it was an embarrassment for me. I tried to cancel but to my surprise the link for cancellation did not work. Says bad gateway.

I booked it just because there were no other hotel closer to is-ha yoga centre. Booked for 3 nights but then i reduced to 2 nights because it was a late night check in and the owner couldn't help with the taxi. I had to book a hotel near to the airport. Second day i just left my bags here and stayed a night at is-ha, third day i returned to royal castle homestay for my last night stay and would have extended if it was comfortable. - bed mattress was as hard as stone- no hot water in the bathroom (this day i didn't have shower)- no towels - no toiletries- a very thin blanket is provided- the room had two big windows one towards the courtyard and one facing the field but both were opened from outside with no way to close it and the curtains were see- through so no privacy- the day i came back from is-ha, i was a bit tired and wanted a cup of tea, asked the caretaker if they have a cup of tea they said no, luckily i carry tea bags and coffee sachets in my bag so i requested him if i can make myself a tea in their kitchen, but there was no utensils in the kitchen, not even spoons, the caretaker then searched and got few utensils from someone somewhere and we prepared black tea. Couldnt sleep at all. I was feeling sick and i wanted hot water to drink. I was just waiting to check out and get to my other hotel. Few good points- close proximity to isha- property is surrounded by fields and trees and is very cool and airy. - of you book they provide breakfast which they buy from nearby store/restaurant. Food was simple and nice. - the caretakers murugan anna and other two anna's were very nice and polite. And always smiling. I hope the owner takes time to stay at his own property and brings in the changes required for a comfortable stay. After which this place will be perfect to stay.

The rooms are good and the owner of the property is very friendly but the toilets are broken and not maintained properly. Request the owner to repair or replace the broken toilet.

Poor management, not worth for the price

It’s a good stay for the price. The entrance to the property is very unceremonius. Even my taxi driver commented that this can’t be the place. Once you enter the property it’s good. The hills are a great view. The breeze is cool. Very rural in experience which is a positive in this modern world. There are 4 rooms downstairs and 4 upstairs-guess. The gentleman guarding the place is a thorough gentle soul. Just that he understands virtually very little english. We managed somehow. Kindness is his asset. The morning breakfast and custom made tea was a delight. They managed to call a rickshaw for me which was great. The room is large but is very basic. There is a lot of scope of improvement in the basic amenities, that may not cost a lot but can make stay comfortable. The tv subscription had run out and the gentleman couldn’t reactivate it with his efforts. I didn’t mind that as i was not there to watch television. Availability of wifi would be an obvious recommended. Overall great value for money and close to visitors coming to is-ha centre.

It was good to stay with the entire family. Hot water was not available.

The hotel provides you a complete homely experience, the caretaker provides lunch, dinner and breakfast. Rooms are big and spacious

Hi place is away from city and

A good and no-frill place to stay, quite near to is-ha foundation's ad i yogi statue. The caretaker (mr. Murugan) and the property owner ( mr. Sathish) take personal interest in making the stay and visit around the area a comfortable experience for you.

Nice property! good stay and very hospitable

The shower was not working; no tv connection; less privacy; food was provided as complimentary and was good. The service was also fine.
