Zara homestay

Me & my cousin stayed during Durga Pujo & booked this Zara homestay. They have a great gesture, they called us before the check in day and reconfirmed our stay. Service was truly up to the mark and satisfactory. The room was pretty clean and so the wash room. Only we missed the tea/coffee maker in the room. They have an upper floor restaurant adjacent to the terrace. Luchi/Puri Aloo sabji, egg toast, butter toast, coffee tea are available for breakfast and on request they serve in the room. Other Bengali items and few Chinese dishes are available for snacks & dinner We overall enjoyed the quality of the food, fresh, homely and reasonably priced. Though the rice quality was moderate. Hotel manager and other staff were courteous, polite and very responsive. They have a cozy seating arrangement on the terrace. They provide pick up and drop off facilities from Bolpur station/bus stop on a chargeable basis. The toto driver Buddhadev took us wandering around Shantiniketan and he was being so polite and helpful. However, next time we wish to get any room on the upper floor, as last time we had the room on ground floor.

Zara is located in a peaceful neighborhood about 15-20 minutes from Bolpur station. The super deluxe room is very spacious with a seperate bed for a third person which is ideal for a small family. The rooms are clean and airy, with an attached balcony and access to a common open terrace on each floor. The only thing that is surely lacking is service. The place is under-staffed and the staff, though friendly, are slow and indifferent. The place is good if you want a lazy holiday with no expectations on room service, otherwise avoidable.

Simply great ambience, great service, wonderful behavior makes it a fantastic stay among-st nature's best. Period. Will be visiting again soon and have no intention to stay elsewhere in future.

The Zara homestay atmosphere is great for families, and staffs are also couterous .The ooms are also well-cleaned. However, the food quality is just average.

The homestay is good, food is nice price is quite high, all the staff s are very polite and decent, manager akshay, staff sudip and surya very nice.

Stay here at zeta Zara homestay was really nice. Very near & clean, staff is really helpful and it is safe for girls. I enjoyed my stay here

Nice Zara homestay considering the budget. The extra bed provided was not comfortable though.
