Hotel was very good, Breakfast was excellent, Nice host and service. but Name : Zamta Residency ( not Zamthapa Guest house) Difficult to find out with Make my trip Name. Make my Trip didn't offer me 25% discount on 1st booking, nor with APPOFFER

familyThe hospitality offered by the host in such an desolate space is heart warming. They make sure that you have a perfect stay. The room is warm and cozy and you can have extra blankets. The room is also warm and straight facing the lake and mountains.

The property was already full n said they did not receive booking from mmt. Upon rec-king they adjusted us in another guest house which was half the price n had only common washroom. Pathetic experience due to mm t at zamthapa guest house

This place is good, host are good, good food, good view but this location is almost 45 mins away from shooting spot. This is the 4th gaon. And no network area. Only bsnl network will work.

Beyond expectations

Our travel was for 16 days. And this homestay " zamta" was undoubtedly the best in those days. Our regret is that we didn't stay there for longer than one night. We are definitely going back to start over there for at least a week. Not withstanding the amazing location near pangong lake, and serenity of the village, the hosts were so hospitable people. Very grateful to them for making it a memorable experience.

Not for everyone

If you are not ready to spend that extra time to do off road n be in the remotest area of pangong then this is not the place for u. Very particular menu and no snacks with tea etc available. Food cost is high ( even for pangong area) communication is a little bit of an issue

Host was very good. Courteous but main door of the room was not getting locked. There was no hot water facility to take shower.

No hot water facility to use in cold temp. In morning also there was no hot water. On our request half a bucket hot water provided. However the host was very courteous, they understand what they need to improve. Enjoyed their home cooked food.
