Location is excellent - great view of the lake from the rooms plus a few mins walk from the hotel. Caretakers are really good- good service and good food make up for the fact that rooms are small and basic.

Our stay at Lake-Tso House Pangong was far from what was promised in reviews or videos. We paid for one room and for another, expecting a comfortable experience — but what we got was unacceptable. The cottages were tiny, and despite the freezing -2°C to 4°C temperatures, no heaters were provided unless paid extra, and even then, it was on an hourly basis. The taps in the washroom were leaking and entire night the water was on the floor of the toilet. The complimentary food was half-cooked. When politely pointed out that the cauliflower, peas, and potato sabzi was undercooked, the person attending us in the dining area was not ready to accept. In a nutshell, nothing can be compared to the cost that we pay. What you see is not what you get. My Aunt is 71, and someone can imagine what she had gone through, without a heater (which was chargeable), the caretaker lady could only afford to provide her with a hot water bag. We had pre-booked, but this property seriously needs to rethink its hospitality standards.

The bonfire pit was being used as a garbage dump. No activities were organized, despite what was advertised. The pictures and descriptions on the listing were completely misleading. Due to the extreme cold and lack of basic arrangements, most guests barely stay a night — perhaps why the management assumes no one will raise a complaint. We had pre-booked this based on false expectations, and. This property seriously needs to rethink its hospitality standards.

The room was neat, with hot water, dinner was served between 8-9pm and had a buffet and was tasty. Dont miss to go out around 12 am to see the stars. Breakfast was also served around 8-9 am. The host and helpers there were really friendly.

The rooms were pretty neat and warm. Hospitality in terms of room service, food etc are good. Hotel is in front of lake so good view is ensured. Fully recommended.

The rooms were clean and mostly well facilitated for the location. The food served is tasty and piping hot. Facilities like hot water and electricity are well available in the promised durations. Location is great as well, with the stay being at the front of pangong lake, giving a great view from their restaurant. However, family size room might be small as third bed is a sofa cum bed.

Property was right in front of pangong lake, walkable distance to the lake bank, it was away from the crowded area, so we had the lake pretty much to ourselves
