Hotel Garden Reach

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night family trip to Kalimpong, while staying at Hotel Garden Reach, Kalimpong. ( next to Hotel Mayfair) 1. Reason for this hotel.... accesible location, close to the market ( nearly 7 minutes walk) , all basic amenities like restaurant, view of the mountains, wify, tv available. 2. Welcome and staff behaviour... Reception staff Mr Praman and Miss Nikita were very cooperative and helpful, with a smiling face. 3. Restaurant.... most contemporary chinese and bengali cuisine are available. Room service is very prompt and cooperative. Restaurant staff were very well behaved and courteous. Regular and bottled water easily available. 4. Room... there are two blocks... a recently constructed new block and the original block...all have wooden floor and walls. With comfortable bed. Bathrooms are clean with no waterlogging. 5. View.... satisfactory view of the mountains is available...but all depends on the clouds and sun. 6. The owner is very attentive to the comfort of the guests and often personally looks after their requests. That is a huge blessing. 7. Sight seeing... the hotel can arrange cars for local / distant sight seeing according to your/ prefixed travel plan at a reasonable rate. Overall we were very satisfied with the service of this hotel and would recommend it to other travellers for a comfortable stay.

The hotel was pretty decent. Value for money. Staff were courteous and co-operative. Kanchan jangha view from the terrace was good. Food was also great and reasonably priced.

The staff was helpful, the food was good, the location was great, overall that's the best stay i had in a while

A very good place to stay with clear view of kanchenjungha. This hotel has well-maintained garden within its premises and food quality is also good with reasonable price staying here for couple of days is a wonderful experience.

Great location, room is oldish. So you won’t get a clean vibe. We asked to change the bed-sheet as it was dirty but after multiple calls to their reception no one ever appeared, so finally we had to go to market and buy one ourselves. Food is good, but the tray they were serving was full of previous orders food still there

Location is good, billing was issue manager asked me 500 more than the amount shown-ed by mm t. Bill was not provided. Most of food mentioned in menu are not available.

Hotel room was not provided. Very terrible experience. Please refund my amount. Please contact hotel and direct them to refund the booking amount

Beautiful property near the Kalimpong Market area and close to many tourist spots like Morgan House, Durpin Monastery, Durpin View point. Service is great and the Manager Mr Sandeep is very welcoming. Had a great time at the hotel.

Hotel garden reach is a very nice hotel to stay at kalimpong. It is upon the main road. Rooms are good. Food is good. For breakfast and lunch / dinner buffet facility is available. But choices of food should be increase in buffet. Room tvs have some problems and room telephones were not functioning at all rather acting as a showpiece. Staff behaviour is good and friendly. Arrangement of car for sigtseeing and tours is done by the hotels at reasonable rate. The hotel has car parking facility and has a small park for children.

Amazing experience, nice place, polite staff! food was okay, had some problems with kettle, but staff was helpful.

Location is excellent. Well landscaped common area and play area. Rooms are good considering its a budget hotel. It also has limited parking space available. Food is good but portion sizes are limited the staff is friendly and cooperative

This was the very first time when i spent 3 hrs in hotel without electricity, we had to get ready in morning and there was no electricity and when i asked then they lied that it will be working in 10 minutes and i waited for another 30 minutes. Towels and mirror were not clean. They charged for the water bottle which was there before we arrived, which should be included in booking fee. They were friendly but i will not recommend to anyone.

Good experience to stay. Best hotel in kalimpong. All staff work & behaviour is good. Truly satisfied

Booked four deluxe room .We got three types of room , not sure which is deluxe, standard or super deluxe. What type of room among threeBathrooms are not properly maintained, flash not working , after checkin repaired the flash..No internet connection in floors only in 10 × 10 reception .Food was so soDoesn't worth the tariff paid.Expected more better option in this tariff from MMTThey should survey in every regular intervals

Quality of food is good. Hotel staffs are friendly. Hotel is clean and hygienic. Hotel having a nice garden within its area. But the location of room allotted for us was not satisfactory, having no view from its window. I requested for alternative room but no alternative room were provided from hotel.

Crock in ceiling of room. Water was dripping through all the night on 4th june 2022. No hand shower for wc in room. Bedsheets were used by earlier gusts, no covers for blankets. On request the provided extra sheet which were again used ones. Location was nice, but a bit away from center of the town. 20 min walk. Transportation to town not frequent. Beside forest, hence too many insects in summer
