Golden Sands And Beach Resort

Terrible stay — not worth the money at all! We stayed at Golden Sands and Beach Resort for just two days, and honestly, it was a huge letdown. The villa looked spacious, but basic cleanliness was completely missing. The staff were untrained, rude, and didn’t seem to care about guests at all. The complimentary breakfast was a joke — just bread butter, idli, and dosa. When we asked for more bread, they casually said it’s over! There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, even drinking water was chargeable, and the towels were dirty. The shower didn’t work properly, and they didn’t even provide basic toiletries like a toothbrush or toothpaste. It rained during our stay, and the entire front porch got flooded, making it super inconvenient to move around. The mirrors in the washroom were old and worn out, and there were no bedside tables. To top it off, they expect you to order lunch before 12 PM and dinner before 8 PM, or else you don’t get food — ridiculous! The staff only spoke Telugu, so communication was a big struggle too. Overall, the place is poorly managed, overpriced, and definitely not worth the hype or the money. Would never visit again!

The outside of the villa is good but the inside furniture and washrooms are not good and the service is very bad, there will be no response even after multiple issues. No room cleaning . not worth

The hotel location, private beach and villa are good. The maintenance of the villa is not good and the food options were limited and taste was average. Breakfast was good.

Location excellent very spacious rooms . Luxury villa and experience to cherish well ventilated.

the 2 bedroom villa was is a hell of a state. bathrooms were terrible, bed liners and pillow covers were dirty and spoilt. while the staff made us feel accommodative but they were too helpless since the management dint care of the cleanliness. also, they charge 18% GST (I.e.. of 5 Star level Service) where as the real rating is 1 or 2 star level property. Having said this, the same group have come up with a new Beach facing 5Star property right beside the resort which is exceptional, amazing rooms and service. the new property is worth the visit.

It’s not convenient to stay with families and bathroom are very bad. Food is also not good they are charged 18% gst on food bill also

The place itself is very old and very poorly maintained. Broken furniture’s, mirrors, and they didn’t provide any basic amenities either. The towels that were provided were old and dirty. The water was also very salty. The breakfast provided by them was also very disappointing, very few spread and mainly it was very unhygienic. Overall experience was really disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food is just like our home food, the graders and private beach are good. Mainly gap between cottages and view from hall and bedroom (grader view). The main highlight is the private beach where we have privacy and also when rain starts,the property is more greenary. I love the club area.we have a great experience in this resort. My husband and I had a great time. Thank you I had a wonderful birthday at this resort.

The stay and the private beach were good. But the food can be better. They don't have a running restaurant so have to order food upfront with limited options. And the taste of the food is also not great.

The maintenance was very bad.there is no neatness.We have ordered the food for dinner It's not worth the money. The food was not fresh and tasteless. The swimming pool maintenance was not good. There was no proper equipment for indoor games. Overall it's a waste of money

The biggest letdown was the food service—options were limited, and the quality was far from what you’d expect from a resort setting. It felt unorganized and slow, which took away from the relaxing vibe you’d normally hope for on a vacation. Cleanliness was another major issue. The rooms didn’t feel properly maintained, and basic hygiene standards were clearly not up to the mark. Bathrooms were not clean, and the overall upkeep of the property left much to be desired. The place has potential, especially given its location, but it seriously needs improvement in service and cleanliness

They are not maintaining the resort well Tap Knobs were not working in bathroom No hangers in bathroom

The location is too interior(remote) with narrow roads, but you can find private and unexplored beaches, rooms are spacious but wifi is not provided in rooms which is a little disappointing

Nice resort on beach side. Clean beach, less crowd. Food was ok ok, less options for vegetarians.

The best thing is that we get a private beach and a separate villa. The food is also good. One of the best staycation in chirala

Very worst experience we faced there is no restaurant and food is very worst please be careful you will travels with kids and families. The resort building walkway and sorroundings full of water and we and our children walk in water

Except for the food, the rest of the experience was not up to the standards. The rooms are poorly maintained. We had tons of ants in our bathroom and when we raised the issue no one knew what to do. They do have a lovely property but management needs to get more professional on how to maintain rooms and cleaning. The staff is not trained and feel locals are hired without any training. It’s a great attempt to give locals employment but it should go hand in hand with good training. When they came to clean bathrooms they were using the same towels that is used for bathing instead of cleaning cloths. Overall this place is good but management really needs to buck up on training. The staff is polite let me clarify that but they are not trained to run a stay.
