River View Farm Stay

A good place to relax and enjoy nature Each and every person in the Resort are very friendly and very kind Service offered is fantastic and Food is just too good and I never felt away from home The host family was very caring and humble people and they took care of us like a family Afternoon lunch is not provided so that arrangements needs to be taken care Few minutes travel away from the resort is a elephant camp Sakrebailu camp is a must visit place to see and experience true nature and the elephant camp is too good You need to travel and reach there by 8 a M and its wonderful Also travelers can see the Gajanur dam on the way back to resort from Elephant camp If interested in bird watching there is a place and before going just enquire about in when the birds can be spotted season Also in few distance you have the Tiger and Lion safari and it s not very great but can visit to show children few animals

I stayed with my family at River View Farm Stay in Shimoga. The location is picturesque and next to a small River. We saw the serene River flow just a few metres from our porch. The owner Mr. Vishwanath has maintained the property very nicely with lawns, bushes, trees and flowering plants. The staff is courteous and cooked home made meals for all of us at a reasonable price. Every room had a dining table outside for the guests to chat, play or have food. We had no problems with the ac and hot water. Overall, an excellent home Stay in the middle of nature and next to a slow moving stream.

It was a short stay but it went well. The place is a little distance from the city center which makes it very calm. From the outside of the room we can see the majestic Tunga river. But we can't access the river for any activities. Food options at the place are limited but one can go to the city center to places such as Sri Meenakshi Bhavan and Shubham. They arranged an auto rickshaw in which we could go to different places.

Right next to the river. Excellent location. Food can be a problem though. Go for it if you are looking for a nice and relaxing stay. Close to sakrebyle elephant camp as well. Food service can be improved.

Room was nice but hospitality factors may not please you.. My suggestion is to dine outside... And location is between the visiting places.. Shiva temple and sakrebailu elephant camp nearby... Which can be said to be main attractions.

Very worded full place, I love this home Stay

It was close to the river and it was raining. It became our perfect get away. The food is served two rooms at a time in an outdoor setting. Sometimes small flies could disturb you. But if you are a nature person it wouldn't bother you. It was not many so it was ok. The dinner was perfect we had 2 chicken dishes, brinjal, and chapati, etc.

The manger behaviour was very rude in the holiday home The room allotted to me was neat and clean The activity was not conducted in the holiday home All amenities were provided in the room I had visited this holiday home with my friends The location of the holiday home was wonderful.

Excellent property. Wonderful Farm and garden on the banks of the River. The host is wonderful and helpful. Will surely recommend and visit again soon.

Homestay is ideally located on bank of Tungabhadra river room are excellent and service is very nice Owner is very friendly and we could see him alway taking walk and interacting with guest understanding the requirement or concernFood was pretty good felt like I am having foof at home Thank you for hosting us

My mom stayed there with my aunts. They all had a great time there at the Farm Stay which is literally River Side. They all liked the peacefulness of the place. The owner was also very cordial and helpful. They also arranged for food and boarding for the driver
