Neemrana's - Tijara Fort Palace (60 kms away from Alwar City)

Tijara Stay Review – (Family with a 4-Year-Old) We recently stayed at Tijara and wanted to share a transparent review based on our experience. Positives: Food Quality & Service: The highlight of our stay! The buffet spread—especially during the weekend dinner and breakfast—was great. Our 4-year-old was very comfortable as the chef graciously prepared a couple of items on special request. This thoughtfulness really stood out. Pool, Hi-Tea & Fort Views: The pool area was well-maintained, hi-tea was enjoyable, and the views from the top of the fort added charm to the overall experience. Weather & Fort Walk: Luckily, the weather was very pleasant during our stay, which allowed us to spend nearly an hour roaming around the fort—something we all enjoyed. Staff Support: The staff was polite and helpful throughout. We didn’t face any issues regarding hospitality or service. Areas of Improvement: Access Road: The last 300 meters leading up to the property are quite steep and unpaved—more like a rocky trail on a small mountain. This part definitely needs improvement for safer and more convenient access. Limited Activities for Kids: There's no dedicated kids’ play area. While basic games like carrom and ludo were available, more could be done to engage children, especially during longer stays. Lack of Adult Activities: Beyond the fort walk and hi-tea, there weren’t any engaging activities for adults either. A few cultural or recreational options could significantly enhance the overall experience. Overall Verdict: A good weekend getaway, especially for couples or small families looking for a peaceful break. However, given the current setup and limited activities, we’d recommend it as a 1-night stay for now.

Tijara Fort Palace offers a truly beautiful property with stunning scenery, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Perched on a hill overlooking the city, it provides a tranquil atmosphere and picturesque views. We stayed in a Heritage Comfort room, which was spacious and impeccably clean. While the absence of a TV was a minor oversight, all other facilities were excellent. We appreciated the complimentary mini-bar included in our package, and although it was initially empty, the staff promptly replenished it upon request. The food was good and tasty, and the food staff were consistently courteous and very helpful, enhancing our dining experience. However, we did note that the choices for vegetarians were somewhat limited. During our stay, we had a fantastic time enjoying the cultural event and the vintage car ride, which were definite highlights. The fort is ideal for a short, peaceful break, but if you're planning a visit for more than two days, you might find the activities a bit limited. Overall, Tijara Fort Palace offers a charming and serene experience with excellent service and a beautiful setting.

Tijara is owned by Neemrana group and is even larger than the original Nimrana standing at around 7 acres of property. There is still room for a lot of development in the property. Hospitality is the highlight of our. Stay there. You can call for a golf cart or a car at any moment from anywhere in the property and their drop you to anywhere you desire there is free fort Palace tour along with high tea. Best time to visit would be winters with monsoon coming at second number. Lastly, on improvement, I would say food was good, but definitely our price for the price. Note that you would not have any option other than to have it in the property, so prepare in advance to shell out 50 to 60% of your room price as food bill

Tijara was a beautiful place with exceptional hospitality. My 76-year-old mother has difficulty walking, but there was always a cart or car readily available to assist her in getting to the breakfast, high tea, and dinner areas. She slipped while getting into the vintage car, but the driver responded immediately and brought ice for a cold compress. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated with antique furniture. There were countless picturesque spots perfect for photography. The lush green, pollution-free environment made our stay truly enjoyable. It was a pleasure to spend time at Tijara.

The property is stunning — a beautifully restored heritage fort with breathtaking views, unique room decor, and a serene atmosphere. Each room had its own charm, and the architecture made us feel like royalty. The food was really good, with a decent spread and prompt service. It's an ideal place to relax, take in the history, and enjoy quality time with friends or family. There aren’t many activities, but if you're looking for peace, heritage, and great photo spots, this is the place. A perfect quick escape from the city hustle. Highly recommend for a short, royal getaway.

This was our second visit here in the last few years and the stay was nicer. Food was an excellent platter and variety at both breakfast and all meals. Staff of friendly and courteous. Prompt services and hospitality. Property is lovely and well maintained. Comfortable for even elderly and kids and pets are allowed. Rooms are nice and spacious with a good view.

Resort is located in the nature’s paradise. Especially u can witness the Mansoon spring here. Surrounded by hills lavish with greenery. Staff is well trained. Ambience is good but food quality needs more improvement.

Location is very close to Gurgaon (just 1.5 hr drive). Food was extremely good like any other Neemrana property. The staff was very courteous. They have most of the required amenities. The only thing I didn't like was that they charge for Pool table usage which should be free for guests staying.

Perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of city life. Vintage charm, scenic views and gardens, comfortable rooms with restaurant, pool & spa facilities. Nestled in the lap of Aravalis, the best part was the serenity all around.
