Location was superb just in front of That of Betwa River, rooms are nice and clean and the food I quite decent too, even staff was quite good too special thanks to Jyoti at Front Desk and Mahesh Gupta Ji at restaurant whose amicable nature has made our stay more memorable, property is around 800m from Raja Ram Mandir and near to cenotaphs.

Pleasant Stay with Great Location

The room was spacious and clean. The house keeping and cooking staff was also very gentle except the front desk receptionist. The location of the property was really good and the river ghaat was right accross the road except that lot of stairs have to be climbed to reach the room within the property. Most of the rooms are on the hill slope. The receptionist was thoughtlessly allocating the room without considering who was staying longer or who had difficultly climbing the stairs. So that was the only drawback. The breakfast buffet was good but not much choices were available for ala carte. The stay overall was good.

My first stay at Betwa Retreat in 2018 was so excellent that I became an MPT hotel patron. Since then, I have stayed in MPT properties in Gwalior, Maheshwar, Mandu, Sailani Island etc and had excellent time every where. But this trip left a lot to be desired. The kettle was broken, roof had seepage issues, and 2 out of 5 curtains were not opening. You have a lovely, sprawling property with an excellent location. You have a wonderful, dedicated staff as well. Please use them wisely and not run the place in such a sarkaari manner.

Overall experience was fantastic in our stay In deluxe room no.1....Breakfast was very tasty with different type of food..services were very prompt and supportive..only one thing which disappointed us was the bed covers were not clean there are many dirty spots on bed sheet..Rest was okay..The location of this resort is ultimate..
