Unexpected meetings, gatherings, sharing memories during trips can be called luck or good deeds. Lakshmi and I traveled to Kannur for the Navati celebration of Sharada Teacher yesterday (6th). Navati celebration was yesterday (7th). We reached Kannur in Vande Bharat and went to the home stay that Appu had booked earlier. When the car stopped in a small forest and got off, we saw an old family home. In front were old photos of some elderly people. I thought they were the ancestors of the family home and in between were two color photos. I couldn't believe my eyes. Curiously, the driver asked Habib, how is this here? The answer was that this house was the ancestral home of Prof. Kunhiraman, the husband of the elder's daughter Girija. Who was that "elder"? My father's friend and colleague, Mr. MVR alias M.V. Raghavan, who loved us like children. How quickly that ancestral home, which we had arrived at without knowing, became ours. He called Rajesh and shared his surprise. Then Girija contacted us. When we went to see Saradas in Kaliyassery, Saradas, there was not much else there except family members. Therefore, by the time we were about to return after spending about an hour and a half with our mother, many of our close friends had arrived from Thiruvananthapuram. That too was unexpected. On the way back, Girija invited us to her house. She spent a long time telling us about MVR and everyone in the family in detail. See you at 8 am Girija came to us with breakfast. Again, past memories, household matters and a little politics continued till 9.30. Girija left and a little later, Prof. Kunhiraman came to see us. While saying goodbye, we had breakfast and that meeting was unexpected... There was no limit to happiness. He reached Partha Convention Center at 10.45 where the Navati celebration was being held. He went straight to the teacher. There, Amma was at the front with Betty Baby and Kala (wife of former Speaker Vijayakumar). He happily held our hands and told us the news with a big smile. When Lakshmi told Amma that she should make the century celebration even better, she laughed out loud and said, 'But then you will have to look after yourself'. The very simple, not too busy, presence of family friends and leaders of various political parties led to us renewing memories with many people. That too was unexpected. All in all, unforgettable moments!! This trip made me remember again and keep good memories in my heart ❤️🙏

Stay was awesome, the location of the property was good but a little bit far from the main Road. The property was clean, facilities were available and rooms were good, comfortable. The owner of the property was really very helpful and nice, overall, a nice stay and a recommended property.

Great place to stay with a group of friends. Located at an offshore of Kannur. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all modern facilities. Food was delicious and hygienic. The hosts and staffs were cooperative and responsive. Perfect place to stay at an ancient heritage property at Kannur.

Stayed with group of friends. It's really peaceful. Fire camp and barbeque is quite awesome. House filled with antique structure. Service is quite quick and fast. Totally, worth for the stay.
