Lalit Mahal

Lalit Mahal in TVC is a decent Lalit Mahal, close to the Padmanaba Swami temple. Its is gound plus one storey structure. Hotel does not have any restaurant, but there are many options within 5-10 minutes walk . We stayed for one night. the rooms are large and comfortable. the bathroom is very small and when you take a shower, the water tends to flow into the room. No Toiletries were provided to us, except soap and bath towel. Bottled water is not provided, rather its is supplied in a jug. We had to ask for a kettle (MMT site mentions its is provided in the room). There were only two people managing the Lalit Mahal and since there is not telephone/intercom in the room, one has to go down to the reception if you need any assistance. Overall an okay Lalit Mahal for one night stay, specially as the temple is within walking distance and a 5 minutes drive by auto from the railway station.

Padmanabha Mandir is just 150 mtr away from this Lalit Mahal and we enjoyed a lot staying in this Lalit Mahal. Clean room with full time AC, neat bathroom and staff are very cooperative. This property exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and up to the mark. The staff was very helpful. Mr .Rahul and Mr. Vivek need a special mention as they both were very accommodating and even extended both my check in and check out time as my flight was at a later hour. Even the caretaker was helpful. It is very close to the temple as well. I will definitely stay here when I visit next time.
