nice location, unique interior, nice food....but a bit expensive. beautiful pool looks like a infinity pool.

I had a luxurious stay with excellent hospitality — the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the overall experience very pleasant. The property itself is well-maintained, and the ambience reflects a truly premium standard. However, there are some serious concerns that should be addressed for guest safety and comfort. Mobile networks and internet connectivity are extremely poor, and the hotel-provided Wi-Fi is unstable. Even intercoms occasionally fail, which could pose a major risk in case of emergencies, especially since the property is dimly lit at night and the reception is located at a distance. These factors raise valid security concerns, as timely communication is critical. Additionally, the food is on the expensive side, which might not feel justified for all guests. Overall, while the stay was comfortable and the service was top-notch, addressing the connectivity, safety, and pricing issues would make the experience truly flawless.

The property is beautiful but it is not well maintained. Especially the rooms, the A.C stopped working, the geyser was not working, the balcony door was not closing. Even the wardrobe was unclean and not properly sanitised. We had to contact the room service again and again, even they were late in delivering the service.

Amazing except front office staff specially a front office associate man . He doesn’t know how to smile .

Inconsistent communication from the different hotel staff. Swimming pool is inadequately equipped with accessories. No HD channels are available with Tata sky subscription. Even India vs Pakistan match is not available to watch on tv.

I recently spent a night at Joypur Sonar Bangla Resort and it was truly a beautiful experience. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm welcome at the reception which set a positive tone for my stay. The ambience of the property was simply awesome, surrounded by the serenity of the jungle—making it a perfect escape from daily hustle. I especially loved the variety of indoor and outdoor games available to engage both children and adults, ensuring quality family time. The best part for me was the lack of mobile network, as it allowed us all to disconnect and genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Overall, I highly recommend Joypur Sonar Bangla Resort for families or anyone looking to unwind in nature without modern distractions.

Good stay. Sonar Bangla properties are mostly well spaced out and well maintained. Delux ground floor room with balcony - excellent. In-room: RO water only (no bottled water given), Smart TV with Tata connection and Wifi connection - good. Food - average. Breakfast spread & taste - average. Parking - on campus, multiple spaces. Pets - Dogs allowed (extra charge). Well lit and maintained swimming pool with sitting area. Activity area includes suspension walking, bungee etc. Games room includes Pool, Carrom, TT & Gym. Complimentary Cycling inside campus. However, frequent powercuts along with almost No phone connectivity. Only Jio and sometimes Airtel but that too outside room, Reception or Restaurant area, completely cutoff in room. Overall good stay for a weekend.

The hospitality was very very bad and the food was worse. According to the staff we will be treated as guests when we enter the premises not before that. They said this when we called them for directions

The stay was a luxurious one at the heart of nature. Food is a little bit expensive but both quality and quantity of the foods are upto the mark. The outdoor activities are awesome. The main attraction was the Pool. I want to go there again and again for that lovely pool.

Had a great experience. The place has been well maintained with ample amount of space to stroll around. It’s a perfect destination for retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It makes one feel one step closer to the nature..

Pathetic Staff , Zero Hospitality. Front Desk Managers dont even have basic hospitality etiquettes.Raju Mondal the front desk manager is a goon.

Wet disappointed with the stay. Over last 2-3 bookings with make my trip I am being provided rooms with no view and at the backside . The same happened at Puri Mayfair and it again happened this time with my stay at Sonar Bangla Joypur forest . I called up make my trip also but no resolution was provided!! Why should I be provided with a room at backside ?

Very nice experience. Polite staffs. Built in a great way with many indoor games, gym, pool etc. Food is very nice.

The property located in the middle of dense forest is a nice retreat if you want to unwind yourself amongst nature. A relatively newly constructed resort with nice spacious rooms and all modern amenities. Be prepared to drive along kaccha mud road for the last 500metre stretch. Also there is no cell tower over the property though you get a good free wifi coverage everywhere. The staffs are really courteous and helpful. Nice breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet spread. The pool is nice too. Staycation was excellent. I found this location via reels, food was very authentic in taste and very delicious.Room amenities was nice, specially room service and staff are very good in behaviour and friendly in nature

the property has its own serenity i loved there room the place has so many things to do. I must mention being a harcore vegetarian I found good food which is the most essential part of a trip

Sonar bangla Joypur location is excellent, food is very good though price is on the higher side. Staff is cordial. Basic things like bathroom slippers,body wash they didn't give even on request. Room was very clean and was spacious.

Location is excellent, property is amazing but food is pathetic & service is disappointing. We were served stale food and on confronting the Chef( Samrat) he accepted that Chicken was prepared couple of days ago. Only breakfast was eatable otherwise they can’t even make tea, soup or pakoda. Not sure why such a terrible chef is employed by Sonar Bangla.
