Hotel Shaans

I enjoyed the stay very much—no hassles at all. The only challenge was the car parking, especially during weekends due to birthday parties and other events, where guests staying at the hotel are not given much priority. This is the only issue they currently have. As for the rest—stay, room service—this is a great place to stay. The parking issue seems to be a recent development. I’ve always stayed at Shaans whenever I visit Trichy and have consistently had a great experience. It’s been almost 10 years now, and every time I visit Trichy, I’m used to staying at this place.

Pros: The room was good The staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of south indian variety. Restaurant staff was very friendly and accomodating. Cons: The restroom in every room was treated for insects and the chemical smell was a little strong. They have placed some room freshener but that looks like it was placed ages ago and it was useless. There was a brief powercut but it took 10 minutes for the generator to kick in.

Friendly staff and hotel is at good locations. Food is also good. Would definitely recommend to others visiting trichy.

Property is good. Big and clean room and bathroom. Nice mattress for a good sleep. Good location and nice staff. Experience ruined by the service at the restaurant - we were served left over food from the next table, which was caught and was replaced! the restaurant did acknowledge and apologize. But this is just not done! high wait time for order delivery. Good hotel, just avoid the restaurant!

Our stay at this hotel was for 2 days. It is a comfortable stay. I like their professionalism. Complementary breakfast was excellent. I will recommend this hotel.

Non-pest control in the room, no fan speed control, water leakages from bath room roof and no information about supply separate veg food. This is halal food hotel. How the vegetarian can accept. Do not recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel located in main area and rooms are neat and clean but no ventilation windows, found some cockroaches in rest room reception greeting was not that much greet , morning food is good

Hotel room ( delex) is fine, spacious and equipped with most of the items except wardrobe accessories. Check in was easy and friendly experiences. Car park facility is there and facility for driver slso provided. Fine.

We had booked for 3 nights and at the check in we were allotted a room with a window that overlooked a usable corridor. We refused to use the room as there was no natural light and ventilation. We were then given a room that had a window opening into the side open space. In both rooms there were small cockroaches. In the mornings, it world take a long time for hot water to flow into the shower taps. Our stay was from fridat night to sun-day night. On saturday night, there was loud music being played on the upper floor (terrace) in a party, right from 7. 30pm onwards. At 9. 30pm when we complained, the receptionist said that it will stop by 10pm. The music and shouting eventually stopped only at 11. 15pm and thereby disturbed our sleep. Parking facilities and food were good at the hotel.

Stay was good. Room was well cleaned and comfortable. Friendly staffs.

An average accommodation. The rooms have an unused musky smell. They have a restaurant within the building and room service is available. The parking is at the basement of the building and there is not lift connected to the parking, you have to drag your luggage all the way up to the reception by yourself. No bellboy is available, the reception will give your the room key and then you have to walk around dragging the luggage by yourself and search for the room.

The place was good and clean good service and the staff were friendly, good location i the heart of trichy great food and stay.

The stay was not good, the room was small for the money we paid. The front office guy never moved out of the desk. We forgot our phone charger in the room and they say it is not available. Someone in the hotel has stolen and the front desk is not acting on any issue. Simply sitting. Hotel with thieves. Recommend not to stay

Parking facilities not happy room service should improve only average. Otherwise good.

Location, food and amenities all good. In fact the restaurant ambience and food are above par. Really good. Negative side is there is no room service even for carrying the luggage. The service at the reception is below par.

Good ambiance n good food. Spacious rooms. Booking thro mmt is more easy and smooth. Hence, can definitely recommend this restaurant

Location of thd hotel was goid, close to city center, nearby many eateries. Room amenities are average. Even there is no water bottle. Instead water is kept in a plastic tumbler.

It was a worst experience for me, i was stayed one night there room was below average food quality was extremely pathetic, bad service from their staff i forget one of my dress there, when i approach after few hours they are simply stated that they were put in waste basket. The dress is looks like very clean and good they dont keep responsibility to inform or keep the dress in their custody overall pathetic experience not recommended coz they are not responsible for any belongings which questioned our safety also

Hotel is located in a decent location. A decent room and the food served is good. Morning breakfast i couldn't have because they said that they will serve only at 7. 45am, i have to be in the airport by 8 am.
