Hotel Rivera (Beach Facing)

Property location is on Sea Beach with good sea view from Room but everytime Rs 100 Auto fare to go to Swargadwar. Rooms are good. Some washrooms are bit smaller but not all. All Washrooms should be standard size. Sea View from Room Balcony is very good. U can visit the Beach in front of the Hotel. Hotel has a very good Lawn in front where guests can sit and chat enjoying the wind from the sea. There is a Dhaba in front beside the Hotel which is open whole Night for good food. We even celebrated BDay Party at the Dhaba. Overall a very good Hotel on the Sea Beach near Lighthouse with good Sea View Rooms at reasonable cost.

I am surprised to receive a message from Golden Palace Rivera that our booking have been change and given to Golden Palace.However I'm given a room which have no balcony and not ùpto the standard. My experience in this hotel regarding food and service is bad .

The rooms were small, poor condition of upholsteries & bed mattress, damp bathroom. Hotel has not started their 24x7 bar yet but mmt mentions about it in their description. Restaurant food is good. The cafe outside, run by the hotel, is good. The location is very nice as it is right infront of the marine drive beach. The beach is cleaner & less crowded than the popular puri beach. Staffs are courteous & very helpful. Their food recommendations are appreciative.

I have found the property from mm t !rating. Their food was quite satisfactory (bit upper side. They don't provide the balcony side room on upper floor though they have charged almost 7000/per day and provide us ground floor sea facing room which cannot be so costly. Otherwise their dhaba is quite good & cookies & cakes part is fantastic. As i check out early (5 a. M)on 30 th and skip my breakfast which they charged already, but cannot arrange any sort of breakfast. One thing i request you to all to check the costing of food list whenever you want to pay all the bill later at once.

Cozy place, direct sea view from room, great food affordable price, staff behaviour was good as well. Loved the stay will like to repeat.

Not value for money. Tariffs are too high. You will get much better property than this. Breakfast and food are not good at all

Rooms and service was ok. But the hotel did not have any facility to pay by credit card which is very very difficult in these days. Every day, i kept asking them to repair their credit card machines, they did not. I could not have my meals in the hotel due to lack of credit card facility. I had to go to swargadwar all the time to eat meals. Very disappointed

Location is great. Food is good. A beautiful cafe is in the campus which is edge over other properties in this location. Mattresses and pillow are not upto standard.

Check in was during power outage. The electricity was not there for a long time thereafter. Proper amenities was not provided for 3 person even when booking was for three i. E. Towels, soap, glasses etc.

Ac wasn't working in room. They changed the room. That room was also smelly. Ac of that room was also not working well. The restaurant cafe beside is open for all. Overall very high rates as compared to facilities offered. I would rate the property 2stars.

Location wise the hotel seems to be ideal location. Food was not fulfilling the expectation level. Room was not at all spacious and linens were untidy.

Hotel is located in very good location. Rate they charge for stay is above average but service they provide is pathetic. Rooms are not cleaned, sheets are not clean and changed and has marks all over, they just turn sheets upside down and replace it. There was army of ants in my room, was smelly. Overall pretty bad experience.

No difficulty in finding the location of the hotel as it is nearby light house and sea facing. Quality of food is excellent but at a higher price. Not accepting credit card payment.
