Hotel Purple Heaven,Katagla

This hotel is not the kind of hotel which you set up the location for, navigate and simply check-in. Rather, this property has 'Zero' maps presence. The location given on the MMT email voucher is of a different place altogether. We found this out when we didn't find the hotel at the location provided but simply and empty road. We had to then call the manager multiple times after which we got to know that we had to basically 'trek' our way another 15-20 minutes into the forest to reach the property and vehicles cannot go there. We had gone as a group of friends, both guys and girl and had taken a private taxi hence were able to somehow manage. Nowhere in the hotel description or on MMT is it mentioned that we have to take our extremely heavy bags and then drag them to the hotel on our backs. This concept is not new however the non awareness created by the same simply cost us our time, energy and peace of mind.

Hotels location is next to Parvati River and therefore amazing views. Staff is really courteous

The staff members of the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, Food they served was good and average. For dog lovers it's a great place as they have two over friendly dogs brunn. Forgot the names I am not a dog lover, that's why. The location of Hotel is not accessible by car so trek is required. I would suggest people to carry rucksack or small bags if they wanna stay here. Overall good place but it's not yet fully ready and some parts are still under construction.

It is a newly constructed property, so was very clean and well maintained. Very close to nature and river. However one needs to walk in the hilly terrain for 20-25 minutes to reach the hotel and the car also needs to be parked on the road far away. Not suited for elderly people or anyone having difficulty walking. The staff is very friendly and treatment is homely. Good for couple and bachelors. Don't carry a lot of luggage, if staying here.

Nice location. If you want to stay away from main city this is the place you should go. It is around 2 kms before Kasol. However it is about 15 minutes walk from the main Road. Food was good, staff was really good. Neat and clean place in the woods.

Just loved the stay. Fabulous location, service and food. Just 5-10 minutes trek to the hotel from the main road which is surely worth. You will be welcomed by two adorable dogs bruno and tommy.
Fabulous stay. The hotel manager was so much cooperative. Even the service was good, they will arrange whatever you need. The food was excellent. The location is just 5-10 minutes away from the main road, one needs to trek to the hotel, even the trek is superb as it passes through a bridge located at Parvati River and you will be welcomed by two cute dogs Bruno and Tommy. Just loved the stay, would surely visit again.

Quite romantic place. Only 5 minutes walk along part the river to reach this guest house surrounded by orchards. The host raju, a nice gentleman who stays with his family in the same orchard garden. 50 metres from the bank of part the river. Kasol only 10 minutes by bus. Good for families and couples.
