Hotel Grand Mahal

The Hotel Grand Mahal is very well maintained and showcases amazing Kashmiri culture. The property is about 2.5kms from Nishat Garden which helped us visit Nishat view point and carry out Shikara ride. Shalimar Gardens are at a walking distance from this Hotel Grand Mahal. This Hotel Grand Mahal serves amazing food both veg and non veg. The dining hall is absolutely stunning and restaurant manager Mr Abdul is a wonderful host. Excellent room service was provided throughout. Staff is very young and co-operative. They go out of their way to provide lovely service to their customers. Special mention to Mr Faisal for the service provided to us.

Manager was courteous enough to upgrade our room to premium category. Also added free breakfast to our booking. Rooms are in good condition. Dal lake is about 2 kms away which you can walk if you are not with family since its like walking at highway no footpath available.

It is highly recommended for stay, the entire staff was very helping & supportive. The staff at the reception, housekeeping & restaurants were all supportive. Will definitely book my next stay here in Kashmir. The Hotel Grand Mahal’s ambiance was also very peaceful.

Stay was comfortable, we even got upgraded to a suite as we had an infant along. Food was served hot and tasty. Property was clean and well kept. However the only concern was hot water and ac/heaters were operational only between 6-10.

The Hotel Grand Mahal is nice and value for money. The Hotel Grand Mahal location is very good, near shalimar bagh and agriculture university underneath the lush green mountain. Staff is courteous -excellent stay.

Good ambience & nice rooms. Great hospitality & regarding Hotel Grand Mahal staff. I had to leave at 6. 30 am & for that even my my breakfast was packed. An appreciatable gesture. Recommended to all
