Hotel Grand Jigar Near Dal Lake

Food was great and cook gives his personal touch as I asked him to do👍.Staff are also very supportive and helpful in nature.

A bit overpriced for the kind of room they provide. Old and not so clean washroom.. bed and mattresses are not top notch.. Location is great, walking distance from dal lake..

The hotel grand jigar is not on the main road but about 300 meters from the dhabas, shops etc. Its a bit inconvenient. Clanliness is average. Food was good and tasty. Room service was also good. Overall good experience.

The hotel was not worth its tariff. Rather it was not in position to accommodate guests. On first floor, the lobby was completely dusty and the cleaning work was going on. The phone call to receipt-ion never throughed. The staff troubled to avail hot water for more than 40 mnt. 3 different people tried to avail hot water. No kettle, no dental kit, no ac.

Hotel is very bad and service is very poor

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grand jigar & Restaurant in srinagar. The ambiance was serene and the views were breathtaking, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Hotel rooms and staff are very nice and comparative. I would recommend to everyone that if you are looking for a good hotel near dal lake then you can book a room in this hotel without thinking anything.

First of all, the room was not a deluxe room service time is very slow the geyser was not working properly. The cost of the food items of the hotel is very high. Similarly, the cost of the hotel is very high compared to the price they are taking from the customer. In this price range one can get better hotels. Overall experience is bad.

We booked a room for 3 persons including 1 senior citizen for 3 days but they gave us a small room at 2nd floor even after requesting for ground and 1st floor they gave a worse option so we had to live in that room. Blankets and bedsheets were of very poor quality. Even we had to ask for water each and every time. Once we asked a cab from them at 8:30. They kept us waiting till 10 am. After getting so much late we left hotel and arranged it outside. When we asked him to extend our stay for 1 day if they provide us better room they immediately shown us a big room which was vacant but they didn't provide us that room in starting bcz we booked room online. So we had to adjust. Even we asked them to shift in that room in night. They refused and said you can shift only next morning. Non cooperative staff and poor service. Cleanliness was also below average. Only positive thing is that it is at walking distance from dal lake but after crossing a dark street which has no lights in night

my overall experience of stay at hotel grand jigar is very bad because the reason is below- (1)hotel location is very bad locality and way of hotel is scary. (2)hotel rooms and blankets are dirty and not hygiene (3)hand shower is not working (4)door lock and bathroom door lock both are not working. (5)gyger for hot water is working properly. sorry i can't add images because i have checked out there in the morning today. what is the current status of pnr no-****** ?

terrible experience 😪. actually this is not a hotel .. it's a guesthouse .. waiters are not trained up .. they have no manners .. they have not responding to the customers at all .. heaters are not working .. no electric kettle in the room .we have to drink ice cold water .. they provide dirty hot water from their kitchen .their food are worse .. black tea provided in the morning is terrible.. we have to vomiting after drinking.

The room was not available at check in time. There were shortage of required stuffs for the services. Cleaning issues. Inverter was not running at night so we faced trouble in the night because there was a power cut

1 terrible. We left the property with in 10 minutes, as the rooms were totally unhygienic with dirty bedsheets, stained pillow covers and stinking towels. Other room services like glass, water, tea cups and saucers were dirty and not washed. The locks of the doors and window panels were broken. Blankets were very dirty and so unhygienic. The tea that we had ordered was one of the worst kind of drink. Just besides our room was a super stinky and dirty dogs kennel. There was negligence in every kind of service. Pathetic hospitality. The worst part was the environment which is not at-all safe for family members. We have been cheated. It was the worst experience.

The staff here is very supportive and very polite. They provide us the best possible help on our requirements. The hotel is also neat and clean. Beds are nicely done.
