Terrible Stay – Unhygienic Room with Fungus Smell and Stinky Bathroom

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The room had a strong fungus/mold smell from the moment I entered, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay in. The toilet and bathroom were stinky and clearly not cleaned properly, which shows a serious lack of hygiene and maintenance. Despite raising concerns, there was no prompt action or support from the hotel staff. This was not at all what I expected when booking. I strongly urge others to avoid this property until they address their cleanliness and maintenance issues. Definitely not worth the price or the brand’s reputation.

This place is not for families to stay! We literally had all bachelors around our room doing parties late night. It was written no smoking on the corridor but whole corridor was filled with cigarette smoke. People were howling late night. Also at 4 am hammering sound was heard some repair work was done at that time of the morning. Though room was clean and tidy its not suitable for family stay

Me and my daughter stayed at Room no 210. The closest was broken with lines,. The fittings of the toilet seat were damaged and loose. Coffee powder, Teacher bag, sugar etc not kept in the room. I requested them in the morning. Each day we have to request them to replace bottled water. I purchased Paneer curry from SLV pakshala, which was very salty. I am staying here for the 5th time here. But now their quality has declined.

Not worth the stay…receptionist not accommodating and torn dirty towels

I checked in at 6:30am today, and had asked receptionist Ravi Kumar to extend checkout time, he only gave an hour, that is, instead of 11am, 12am. It was my mistake some relief due to very late checkin due to choosing the same hotel every time I stay in Shimoga. But no. The bathroom floor was dirty, torn dirty towels were in the bathroom, pictures attached within. All else was good, security guards were very helpful and even the receptionist Sukanya was polite & attentive at the time of checkout.
